"So a couple of weeks ago we ordered a takeaway from Piato restaurant in Baldock. 3 chicken souvlaki, 12.95 each, so 38.85 in total. One of the chicken meals was undercooked with pink/blood running through, so could not be eaten. All 3 meals came with a salad in a box and all 3 salads were brown . Andy called the manager and was very respectful and pointed out how surprised we were as we have eaten many times at Piato's and have never had a bad meal. The manager said he was sorry and he will cook the chicken longer next time and he insisted that the brown on the salad was due to the dressing that was put on the salad. He told Andy he was sorry and when we next order, he will do something for us to make amends. Today Andy called to order 3 more meals and was told we could have a 10% discount 3.80. Andy said that that offer was ridiculous as one whole meal last time was inedible, the manager would then only offer 15% 5.82. Off the order. Andy was told that they were not offering any more than that. So we cancelled the order and will never eat in Piato's again. What a joke and such a shame what poor customer service from what we thought was a quality restaurant. Check your chicken folks!!!"

"in any case a place to visit. at the beginning of the service he was quick. service was fast and very efficient. the service was also attentive and friendly a real plus my opinion after. we had started and the main trade (on Sunday to Thursday I think). halloumi and the Sausage-Starter were delicious and very well presented. the kebab and also hacks net. all dishes were well flavored and the descriptions were exactly described. an excellent experience that was very reasonable in the price. service is not included and tips must not be cash money card so note that in the understood."

"Recommended by friends, the service was very slow but the manager explained that they were short-staffed. The food, both starters and mains, was very good. The lager was cold and the bottle of wine was chilled. The staff were pleasant, despite being under pressure. Overall, a good dining experience for dinner, with prices ranging from £40 to £50 per person. I would rate the food a 5, service a 4, and atmosphere a 4. Highly recommended dishes are the Onion Bhaji and the Stuffed Naan."

"I have visited this restaurant twice in 2021 and 2022 and the food is absolutely amazing. The Wednesday special offer is great value, with any starter, main, side with rice or naan for less than £15. I believe I used to pay £13.95 for the same combination. Due to its popularity, it is necessary to make a reservation as the restaurant is quite small. They also offer a takeaway service. The staff are always friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend trying the chicken pakora, chicken gunpowder, and sag aloo. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible on the ground floor, so it would be good to mention this when making a booking so they can arrange suitable table space."

"Visiting Dizzis for breakfast as I have done for many years before rehearsals with the band on a Friday, I was astonished in this ‘post lockdown’ period to find some rather vegetarian biased changes to the breakfast menu. A normal meat breakfast contains a sausage and two rashers of bacon, if you want the vegetarian option, all you get is an extra egg!! They both cost £7.60 which pre lockdown was £6.50. So on arrival I asked if they did vegetarian sausages and they said yes, when it appeared there were no sausages and when I asked for some they said it was extra. So the meat option comes with sausages but the vegetarian one doesn’t!!!! Plus you get two rashers of bacon!!! Wake up Dizzis this is 2021!!!!"
