"Somewhat away from the hustle and bustle of the town center you will find the rustic restaurant “Mampfy”, which serves a variety of burgers and schnitzels. Despite the peak winter season between Christmas and New Year 2024, only three tables were occupied. Most of the restaurant was even closed and darkened. The furnishings are a bit old, but still inviting with a touch of coziness. The service was very friendly, attentive and drinks and food arrived after a pleasant wait. In terms of taste, it wasn't a highlight or anything out of the ordinary that would be worth mentioning, but it was ok. But unfortunately nothing more. However, I have to say a very big “but” for the portion size. Unfortunately, this is nothing to fill you up with. It's just the price that really fills you up. In my opinion, things are going overboard here. The price/performance ratio simply doesn't fit here. I have a lot of sympathy for holiday destinations with tourist taxes and also the stress at times of the season (which, however, was not present here), but I rarely felt “not full”. Unfortunately, I can't give a real recommendation."

Cute courtyard and fast, very friendly service. For the (vegan) burger (sweet potato patty) including steakhouse fries with ketchup mayo, I would only give it 3/5 stars, I've eaten better. The (barrel) beer is very tasty.

Nice service! Value for money for the food is rather poor. The menu was a mix of German, Mexican fusion cuisine… implementation, well… the only BBQ on the menu were the rips. For €30 more meat instead of bones is desirable. Ver carta

Hebt sich von der durchschnittlichen Gastronomie in Wernigerode etwas ab. Cooles Ambiente. Burger sehr gut, Spare Rips top....zart und würzig mit einer guten BBQ Sauce. Die Fritten hätten etwas knuspriger sein können, aber trotzdem five Points.

Were here today for the first and last time. Can't confirm the many positive reviews. After we ordered spare ribs with fries, our food was there after just 15 minutes fresh is different. Spare ribs weren't great in terms of taste and were greasy, and the same applies to the fries. The food was absolutely not worth the money.
