A cosy environment within which we were served a great selection of Lebanese hot and cold dishes; the owner provided a good service and also recommended complementary dishes to complete our selection. I'm a long-time fan of Middle Eastern / Eastern Mediterranean food and was pleased to find a good Lebanese restaurant in the heart of the medieval area, across the Grande Rue from the ducal palace. I chose the tasting assortment of three cold and three hot items selected by the chef, which also included hummus, tabbouleh, and rice. Very good food at a fair price.

The restaurant was nearly empty when we wandered in about 7.15. Not encouraging. By 8 o'clock, however, the place was tree-quarters full. Food delicious, portions very generous (consider NOT having a starter if you are going for a main course rather than a mezze), service good with the lone waiter managing to keep everyone happy. We would definitely return and maybe have a crack at the mezze.Only one criticism - not about food or service. The website is very pretty but not very informative - or maybe it's just me.

We enjoyed having dinner here and liked the food. It provides really good value for money from what we found, also considering the great location. However, it was quite surprising that the waiter (who may well be the owner?) didn't share a single smile with us or any of the other 5-6 tables that were busy during the hour or so we were there. Also no questions asked if everything is fine, how was the food, etc. Awkward. However, everything we ordered was brought promptly and in good quality. We would go there again! Ver carta
