Fantastic place for great Turkish! Legit food at a good price. The share plates work well with a small group, take some wine and enjoy with friends!

Great turkish but isn't cheap anymore. All the meat is incredibly tender, full of flavour and spiced to perfection. On the other hand, it has to be said that the service is a disaster and prices raised to £10 for a kebab which doesn't make this place any longer convenient as it used to be.

that is supposed to be one of the best Turkish restaurants in london and is famous for kebabs. as vegetarian, I can't judge it. her mezze platter was good and I enjoyed Turkish coffee. for the net I ordered falafel, I had much better falafel in london. also bear cash, as they do not leave the card.

Bish bash bosh. I took the new old Overground tube to Dalston Kingsland for a visit to Mangal. This is the authentic turkish grill the charcoals sit there right in front of you. We took over the backroom for Mr Mrs S's birthday with a party of 38 ! No problem for the ocakbasi. Don't forget to bring something to drink. Ver carta

how do they define a good kebab? It's good, easy. how do they define a really good kebab? it is when they keep it in their backpack for 2h, then they move it into the refrigerator for 24h, heat it in the microwave and it still has an amazing stamp that surprises them how great it tastes. the mangal probably has the best kebab I've ever eaten.

this is my favorite turk in london. amazingly grilled meat cooked over charcoal. I usually order the sis kebab or the adana yogurtlu as main. make sure to order the smokey aubergine patlacan salata as starter. the grilled side is also a favorite of me if you do not book dinner early at 18:00 or 19:00 to not wait. try to get a table far away from the charcoal grill, as the ventilation system sounds like a plane landing it is byo without cork fee. very efficient restaurant running like a well oiled machine.

My god what an over rated place. I know what a kebab is, I also know what one should pay for one and I object strongly to the fact that the price has risen so high due to people in tight jeans from surry who are in the media claiming they discovered this place, when we used to eat here for years A dirty little place that is now inhabited by tourists who accept the shocking service, one couple were told to move three times as booked parties turned up and they accpeted this and even left a tip, what fools, I would have walked out, its not worth the visit or the trip Really nothing special, but a few goo reviews from some food journos and the WASPS flock here like flies, well let...read more Ver carta
