"We recently spent some time browsing through this daily market in Cannes near Le Suquet. The market is in a huge, covered, rectangular space with nicely spaced stalls where merchants sell vegetables, fruits, cheese, oilve oils, and other local produce. Being tourists we didn't buy...the vegetables, but it looked like the locals do their daily shopping here. We sampled the cheeses, olive oils, and other offerings such as tapenade. We also bought some tasty cherries, donut peaches, and some French oilve oils to bring back home. For our local stay, we bought some selections of sausages and cheeses to eat during breakfast. Around the mid-point on one of the sides, we found a couple selling seafood paella that looked great we bought a medium portion for euros and took it to our apartment for dinner (the medium was enough for the two of us and had big pieces of chicken, lots of squid, and three large shrimps). We liked the market a lot it's a good place to buy local produce for gifts to bring back home."

Open from 7am till 1pm for the best produce in town. Love to come,here and stock up the stall holders are very friendly and the produce is seasonal, local and deliciously edible and photogenic

This afternoon there were dances at the Marche Forville, true. While staying in Cannes, we came here to buy fresh fruits, veggies, cheese and meats. But this afternoon it turned into a dance floor. Cannes never stops surprising you!
