"Delightful evening at Marco Pierre's restaurant at Casa Hotel. The staff were very friendly, inviting and attentive. The restaurant busy for a Monday night which was surprising. I had the calamari and ended up bringing some home it was such a generous portion. The mains, Alex James burger and Lamb rump were done to perfection. It was our anniversary and they gave us a small complimentary desert which was nice. Very sweet token. Much appreciated. The chocolate mousse was just the right side of sweet and the consistency not too too mousse-y. The prices are just shy of London prices and yes the presentation could have been better but on the whole the quality was more than you'll find anywhere else in Fleet. Thank you a lovely evening. We'll be back."

Our first visit to this establishment in it's new guise as a steak house. Apart from the menu nothing much seems to have changed. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxed and the service was very good. Oh yes, and the steaks were excellent.

Cold in the restaurant, food was ok...but for a name like marco pierre white above the door I expected a lot more . Waiters accommodated us as much as possible but service was slow , and not because it was busy as we were the only people in there Ver carta

I must say, I was quite disappointed with my experience at your restaurant. Despite the good food, the inflated prices, empty restaurant, long wait, and haphazard service left much to be desired. I have had better service at a McDonald's, more atmosphere in a library, and better value for my money in tourist hotspots like Windsor or Central London. If you enjoy overpaying and feeling underwhelmed, then this is the place for you. However, if you simply want to enjoy a steak in peace, I recommend doing so at home. Sincerely, [Reviewer]

I am lost for words regarding the food at this restaurant. It is backed by a Michelin starred chef and the standard of food was no better than a service station Wimpy. My partners vegan main was presented on a school dinner plate, it was dry and over cooked and there was no presentation with it. A scattering of fries and a dry burger. My burger was not even home made, it looked like it was bought from Iceland and heated up. The only good thing about the experience was the lovely little old Spanish waiter, he should be given a pay rise to deal with all the unsatisfied customers. Shocked and appalled.

"After reviewing the menu, we decided to go for a 'running buffet' and shared a variety of dishes, reordering every ten minutes or so. I asked everyone to rate each dish on a scale of 1 to 5, and every main dish received a perfect score of 5, except for the Szechuan Prawns, which got a 5.5, and the sizzling spicy chicken, which scored a 6! The rice and noodles were all delicious—fluffy, tasty, and well-seasoned—but we gave them all a rating of 4 simply because the mains were exceptional. The standout dishes were the Char Siew (honey pork), which we ended up ordering three times, and the sizzling hot spicy chicken, which we ordered twice. It had a delightful kick of heat, was tender and moist, and had a wonderful sauce—even though I tried to manage the scores, they rated it a 6! The Szechuan prawns were plump, firm, and cooked to perfection, and they scored a very hard-fought 5.5, with just the right amount of heat. One of the boys was a bit picky, but we requested a serving of Singaporean noodles without vegetables for him without any hassle. This isn’t just average food; it’s really good, and it comes out quickly, looks appealing, and tastes fantastic—reflecting its price. We also tried the 'wine by the glass' options. The white Chilean Sauvignon Blanc paired well with the food, while I enjoyed an Australian Shiraz that complemented the beef, pork, and spicy dishes nicely. The Italian 'Blush' rosé was also a hit. We're already planning to return on Monday with another group of six to explore more of the menu, and I’m genuinely looking forward to it. If you truly appreciate good food, I highly recommend trying Chef Peking!"
