"Lunch break on the way home from the Netherlands, I streamed through the pedestrian zone of emptiness with a wonderful sunshine. Since I had only got a coffee at the company visited, a feeling of hunger began. In a side street towards water I found this Italian restaurant, which was on several signs with “11 lunches for 7,50 € each”. I entered and was immediately greeted by a young waiter. “A table for a person?” I nodded, and he asked me to follow him. We crossed the whole restaurant and then came to a sun-filled conservatory where he gave me a table in the background, in the shade. The menu was immediately served and the selection was made quickly, I ordered from the lunch card “Rigatoni overbaked, with ham, cream, Bolognese and cheese” (7,50 € and a small Cola light (0,2l for 2,10 €). The drink was quickly brought by a younger service. In the first run it was a big cola, but it was exchanged for my intervention promptly and with excuses for a small glass. There was a basket with still warm bread and butter, pleasant and tasty. During the next waiting period, various other service forces appeared and supplied the three other occupied tables in the conservatory. After some time I was served a small plate with salad, which I had not expected. A small portion of different leaf salads, each with two slices of cucumber and tomato, with a light vinegar oil dressing, was quite refreshing at the comparatively high outside temperatures that are not at all suitable for the season. After the salad there was a small break again, then another operation brought the run-up mould with the noodles, in which the oil between the noodles was still slightly broiled. I started eating cautiously, the noodle mass was really very hot. As expected, the tube noodles were cooked al dente, the mass of Bolognesesauce, ham and cream tasted well, and the cheese pulled long strings – Mozzarella just on winding up. All in all a flawless lunch table, and that for under ten euros including drink, you really can't complain."

Wonderfull and good Italian restaurant in the center of Leer! Great menu and wine-list! The owner and his wife are very friendly and the food/service are top. We come back for sure!!!!

very expensive, the price they pay for the food they get, too salty, steak was not nice and tender. can not deal with children. disappointing waitress, very fast, to get us out of the restaurant!

Leider komplett daneben. Ein paar traurige Reste, wahllos angerichtet. Ein bisschen Öl drüber, fertig. Zu allem Überfluss kam unten noch ein etwas muffiger Thunfisch zum Vorschein. Nein, das war leider gar nichts.

that was a test tonight and I was very happy. the place is a real Italian place with good veggie stars, pasta, fresh pasta and natural pizza. I had fresh pasta with homemade pesto and artichokes very delicious. I will definitely recommend this place and come back.

An einem Sonntag Abend ohne Platzreservierung bescherte uns gute 30 Minuten Wartezeit. Die Altstadt von Leer hat hier keine große Auswahl an Restaurants. Die sehr freundliche Behandlung und das leckere Essen machten dies aber wett. Fazit: Freundliche Bedienung und leckeres Essen, unbedingt reservieren.

Das Essen und die Portion war Okay. Wir wurden sehr schnell bedient. Alles in almem war der Abend super. Leider hat meine Freundin ihren Schal vergessen und der war nicht auffindbar mehr. Einziges Manko die Platzwahl bei einer fülle von Leuten schwer. Saßen fast mittem im Gang. Trotzdem sonst alles super.

the restaurant looks good, but we were entertained by one of the worst German waitresses. she's in the late 50s and wears a spectacle. we came together with 20 people when we visited empty during our children's basketball tournament. but we were not treated well. the food was served in small part, which is not worth the cost. while all her eating ended, 2 of my children had commanded a second. while waiting and others went to the playground, we were plagued with dirty German word. not recommended!

Die Vorspeisen waren gut (große Portion Carpaccio) bzw. befriedigend (Vorspeisenteller). Das Ganze sah wirklich sehr gut aus. Der Rotwein war ebenfalls gut. Das wars dann aber auch... Die Hauptspeisen waren leider nicht nach unserem Geschmack ! Die Pasta war meiner Vermutung nach ein Fertigprodukt und die jeweiligen Soßen extrem fad und fast schon wässrig. Es war nicht schlecht, aber eben auch nicht gut und für Durchschnitt gehe ich nicht ins Restaurant. Der Service war eigentlich gut. Als ich Zahlen wollte, wurde mir allerdings mitgeteilt, dass das EC Zahlungsgerät defekt sei, so dass ich noch zur Bank laufen musste, währen meine Frau im Restaurant wartete. in the evening walk through the center of empty we found this Italian restaurant with harbour view and entrance around the corner between the shopping street and the harbour board walk. the restaurant is a family owner with real Italians, vater, mother and son. apropos Italian among them adds to the authentic character. we had 2 jugs wein (each 25 cl) and for all open weine the price was just under 5 €. So they simply choose their taste and ignore the price as they are all the same. we then had a real Italian pizza and the taste was really good and the prices very competitive. other dishes were also present and they can really have a good meal here. not to forget the amuse of the house: warm...
