"he kept us waiting for more than 30 minutes to sit. saw other groups coming after us first, although our booking was first. they were extremely rude when they were asked why we didn't sit first and just told us that the other group was bigger. eating was very easy, I have lived both in Southeast Asia and China, and I can testify that these restaurants eat is not better than a typical takeaway restaurant. Overall, I would definitely avoid going back, and never recommend this restaurant to a friend."

AWESOME. Myself and friends have been coming to Marie's Cafe for over 15 years and never tire of it. As well as awesome, fresh and lovingly prepared food, it also has a great friendly atmosphere. A real gem and well worth many many many visits !

what a special small place. the service was excellent, especially the trainee, she is ready to be fully flew and has passed her training with full credit. the food was served quickly and it was full of taste. 5/5. I'm definitely back on my next trip.

A FAVOURITE. Love love love this place- best chicken phad thai in the city for practically nothing- its reassuring that places like this still exist in central london. Perfect for a pre-theatre dinner as it is 5 mins walk from the Old Vic, Young Vic and 10-15mins from The National.

marie’s is a very small restaurant and can be a little misleading. first it seemed like a not so good restaurant, but don't let it fool. eating was amazing. the service was fast and the food service was fast, but that did not take at all from the quality. very tasty and a perfect part. I recommend this restaurant.

Good but packed. On the plus side, the food was as good as all the positive reviews say, and the dishes were great value. On the down side, everybody knows it, so even on a midweek evening we had a long wait for a table and the staff (well, the owners, I suspect) were rushed off their feet. If you can get in, do but allow plenty of time.

Excellent!. This unpretentious ,as described, cafe ,offers really excellent Thai cuisine at ,for the UK very down to earth prices.I had a classic gai pad med manuang (cashew nut chicken)which has not been beaten in Thailand for flavour ,presentation and quantity.The BYO (bring your own)is not to be forgotten ! highly recommended. kab khun kab !

byob thai brilliant. except we have forgotten byob it is not important that we were here as the main reason for some good cheap Thai foods. After reading some reviews, I can say that they were on the spot. I tried a tom yum suppe, which was refreshingly tender and sharp. we've thrown away a few tellers from crackers. too difficult to resist a second dish and try to select other dishes. highly recommended if they are in the opposite. miso's got some money left.
