First contact with Germain food. Quick service. The lady is polite and can speak good French. 12€ for big lasagne plate. Some salad would have been welcome.

Sentamos para observar os moradores locais desfilando com suas roupas tradicionais. Tomamos algumas cervejas e outras bebidas. Apesar de não estar lotado, o atendimento foi mediano.

Situated on the "marktplatz" a lot of space for the kids to play on the square when finishing the dinner. Ok food, typical German food with schnitzel and fries. Close to all tourist attractions.

Til frokost i solskin et skønt sted at se på livet på den store plads. Samtidig fik vi ekstra oplevelse, da der blev spillet friluftskoncert af nogle amerikanere på turne i orkestermusik / march.Maden ok, dog ingen stor oplevelse

The highlight of our meal was the outdoor seating, which is right in the square and great for people watching, enjoying the weather, etc. As to the meal, they offer uninspired local fare with service that is excruciatingly slow. Just a note, my wife and I are not spoiled travelers, and enjoyed two other restaurants in town during our stay far more than we did here. Ver carta

Clásico restaurante alemán...es mas agradable comer afuera que al interior sobre todo se hace calor. El servicio quizás es lento puesto que las personas que sirven no son precisamente jóvenes. Pero eso lo hace mas ameno. La comida, al menos lo que pedimos y éramos 7 muy agradable. Y no se pueden ir sin probar el strudel de manzana con helado. Preparen cucharas todos.

We called in for lunch whilst in Rothenburg. Lovely alfresco seating in a fantastic medieval city. One negative was the staff spoke very little English which is surprising in such a touristy city. Meals included German and Greek options. I had the Pork Schnitzel was...my friend had the Bratwurst sausages. Both meals were large which we shared with our partners. I was expecting a small side salad with the meal but even that was large. We had a pint of a local recommended beer which was enjoyable. A good option in Rothenburg.

Wir saßen auf der gut besuchten Terrasse am Marktplatz. Der Kellner wirkte etwas überlastet, war aber sehr freundlich und kompetent.Ich hatte "Bauernschmaus", das ist ein gemischter Teller mit Steak, Bratwurst und Geräuchertem Fleisch, Sauerkraut, Knödel usw. gegessen. Das war sehr deftig und wirklich sein Geld wert. Jedenfalls war ich pappsatt.Meine Frau hat gegrillte Leber gegessen und war total begeistert. Sie will beim nächsten Rothenburg besuch auf jeden Fall wieder hierhin. (Ich für meinen Teil mag allerdings keine Leber).Es ist sicherlich kein Gourmet Restaurant, aber es war während unserm dreitägigen Aufenthalt in Rothenburg das beste Essen.Außerdem ist die Terasse auf dem Martkplatz...
