Lovely breakfast for us the kids ! No faults at All, food was a little delayed but it wasn’t any problem staff apologised for the teeny delay. We will be returning :

Such a random place! Football on, someone setting up for open mic night but the most delicious grub! Really rate the chef in his previous ventures but as always he doesn’t disappoint. Top notch grub for Stoke on Trent

I’ve been a local in the shed now for many years and I’ve never come away feeling dissatisfied. I’ve probably tried everything on the menu, the Steak pie or Gammon chips and egg are my absolute favs. Today however I went for a Roast Beef dinner and it did not disappoint

The food is litteraly incredible! This rivals the likes of hickorys and other smokehouses. How he does it I have no idea!! Tasty, fresh and fast! If I was being super picky I would like to see a couple of meals that aren’t ‘handheld’ but other than that, jesus it’s good!!

We visited with friend on a Saturday night we had booked in advance and when we had visited before for drinks the food always looked lovely so decided to go for a meal. It was a bit disappointing when we were given the menu to then be given a long list of food that wasn’t available. Not very good for a Saturday evening. Mostly what was available was the burger which I have to say was one of the nicest I have had but if you don’t like burgers you would have been very dissapointed a real shame.

We came to the Shed for a meal before going to the New Vic which is only a shot distance away. The service was superb and could not ask for more. The choice of drinks was impressive and the Cider they had on was good. We all had a different meal and the food was cooked to perfection. This was good value for what we had. The atmosphere was great and a great location looking over the Marsh on a sunny day. Even the music was good so a 5/5 from all 4 of us and we will be back when we next visit the Theatre

I 'm very, very disappointed. I have used the venue on many occasions for both food and drink, since it originally opened and I have always been happy with the meals I received. My last visit was a complete 180. All the meals that were ordered and received by my pary were disgusting. The fish, in particular, was 95% batter and had clearly been fried multiple times. It disintegrated into a pile of overdone batter. The gammon received was far too salty, and the roast dinner was cold. The cherry on top, we were offered condiments, we requested vinegar only, and the response was we have run out. There is a convenience store 50m walk away, go and buy some! The Shed is a regular destination for us for both drinks and food and we feel so lucky to have a place that serves such delicious food walking distance from our home. We went tonight for a birthday meal, 4 of us in total and it was nice and quiet as midweek and early doors with a few tables eating and only a handful of drinkers. The draught beer list is superb we enjoyed the Beavertown Neck Oil, Camden Lager, Camden Pale Ale and Estrella. There is also a good choice of gins and cocktail options. It advertises as ‘Unique’. Yep no disagreement there. Maybe slightly Marmite ish. May I suggest it is geared towards a young middle aged clientele, especially with the drinks, loud music, and range of food. I have been labelled a ‘grumpy, old, man’. Yet I loved it. Within that context, if you wanted to converse with invited company, it can be a touch awkward, and we were there for lunch. Elsewhere, I have rated a place 3*, because I struggled to chat.
