eat here for two days with family of four, very family friendly with very helpful and polite staff with very reasonable prices, nice pint of larger server at bar, very nice pint actually, would highly recommend.

Been going at least three times per week for breakfast in past six months. Great balue, and promptly cooked full english. They also have other excellent breakfast items such as plain avocado with poached eggs and brown toast with a side of spinatch, or ommeletes...to your liking. Staff is also very friendly.

Called here on Friday after work Was disappointed as there was no taste on everything we all had we all agreed It was if it was all cooked early then microwaved after to be honest we have all felt I’ll all weekend Will not be...visiting again and staff don’t listen when you call them no customer service here

Enjoyed a really good club sandwich and flat white today. Came to including some chips. Wasn't even in the menu but they were kind enough to respond to my craving and I really enjoyed it. The staff are nice, the places is modern and...well decorated but with a traditional feel and the food is great quality. Loads of lunch and breakfast choice on the menu.

Matchsticks is a lovely, welcoming cafe with very nice staff. They serve coca cola from glass bottles. I love coca cola from glass bottles, it tastes so much better. A good selection of food and it's delicious. I love the chips from here. They are...cooked just how I like them and I really enjoyed my bbq chicken, bacon and cheese panini. I will definitely go back because I want to try the ham, egg and chips.

This cafe is fantastic. We visited on Saturday and ordered sausage egg sandwiches and bacon egg sandwiches with hot drinks. Everything was delicious. We've visited this cafe numerous times and the food is always excellent (jacket potatoes, sandwiches, etc). We also grabbed a chocloate brownie and a slice of parkin cake to go, and they were both delicious. The menu offers a good variety of food and drinks. The staff are always friendly, helpful, and provide great service.

I recently visited this charming café and was impressed by the lovely decor, which was clean and welcoming. I started my meal with a tasty soup followed by a delicious cheese and onion pie. I couldn't confirm if it was homemade, but it certainly had that homemade taste and feel, which was a pleasant change from the usual mass-produced options. I was too full from the two courses to try dessert, but I found the prices to be very reasonable. I would definitely recommend stopping by this café if you're in the area.

Matchsticks is located in the center of Broughton Village, offering ample parking and indoor dining, as well as outdoor seating for when the weather is nice. The owner and chef, Mark, along with his family, work together to create a relaxed atmosphere and provide excellent service. I frequently visit for breakfast, which is well-prepared with a great English touch, but I have also enjoyed their coffee, sandwiches, and hot meals that are served promptly. I was passing and stopped in for a bit of brunch. It was pleasant, but not much to set it apart from other cafes. Atmosphere Decor On entering it appears light and airy with an interesting combination of fuschia pink and heavily patterned wallpaper...which seems mismatched with the traditional wooden tables and chairs. There are a few leatherette armchairs, but these have seen better days. Service cleanliness Whilst the service was polite and efficient, there was no real welcome or warmth. It was simply transactional. There also seems to be lack of attention to things like wiping tables and laminated menus thoroughly, evidenced by spilt condiments and sugar, and drink spill stains on tables....
