Me and my partner stayed at hotel Mauro as part of a birthday celebration. The rooms are basic but very clean. We had an amazing view of the lake from our window and breakfast was great. The staff couldn't do enough and answered any questions we had. Very welcoming and would stay there again if we were to return. A great location (5 minutes walk to the lake and nice walk to the old town). Lovely all round.

Hotel carino, con posizione ottima per visitare Sirmione (il centro storico è raggiungibile in circa 45min camminando); c’è anche una spiaggia pubblica raggiungibile in 5min a piedi. Le camere sono molto molto datate, il bagno era pulito ma la doccia era praticamente un buco in mezzo al pavimento del bagno con una tendina di plastica scorrevole (ovviamente usandola il bagno si allaga). L’acqua non era calda e la pressione scarsa. Colazione buona e assortita, ampio giardino, dog friendly e personale molto molto gentile e disponibile. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo.

I went here at the end of Feb 2014, my first time flying. It was an amazing experience and I would defiantly go back here. The hotel was lovely, all the staff were very friendly and helpful, we wasn't very good at speaking Italian so they spoke English to us. The food in the hotel is lovely, I haven't got a bad thing to say about this hotel. I completely loved my stay! Clean, tidy, helpful, wonderful atmosphere. If anyone is looking to stay in this town, I highly recommend Hotel Mauro, by Lake Garda. We got a beautiful view out the bedroom window of the lake, and the mountains. Simply amazing!
