Mayfair Takeaway - Carta

The takeaway from Mayfair always impresses with its hot and timely food. The chicken balls are absolutely superb and the best I've ever had.

Ordered 4 different dishes and a special fried rice and enjoyed everything. There was enough for the next day too. Will definitely order again.

We have just had one of the best Chinese meals from here! I have now just read previous reviews and am shockrd. All I can think of is that most people who have a great experience don't write reviews. Thankyou for a lovely dinner and prompt service!! Will decinately be ordering again!!

1st time ordering via Deliveroo so no contact with restaurant. Arrived promptly and tasted fine. Sadly 35 minutes later my husband ran to the bathroom and has been bad since (nearly 24 hours later). This was the only thing different we’d eaten all day. Will definitely not use this Chinese again.

I used to order from this restaurant frequently, but recently they have cancelled my order three times without any explanation. When I called to inquire, they told me that I was too far away and my order was too small, even though they had accepted my order multiple times before and have delivered to me in the past. I will not be returning to this restaurant. Ver carta

The vegetable chow mein had no Chinese vegetables like bamboo and only had one mushroom piece along with loads of carrot and celery which doesn’t even go with chow mein! Avoid this place I also felt a stone in my mouth from unwashed vegetables .. if you want a good Chinese meal I’d order from lucky house time and time again the food quality and taste never disappoints!

Disgusting, wontons were dried up, over fried batter, chicken spring rolls also dried up over fried sticks, beef and onion, more like unflavoured gravy with mushrooms only, 3 pieces carrots 5 pieces beef, and 1 chopped onion. Prawn toast was just toast drenched in oil.. Cannot believe this is Chinese owners, they usually cook yummy satisfying food, who is running this?? Bought via just eats, will def never eat their disgusting food.

Just ordered from the Mayfair menu at 4.45pm Friday 30/04/2021 house special curry large chicken chow mien sweet and sour chicken balls 2x pancake rolls chips food ready within 10 mins complimentary bottle of coke prawn crackers beautifully fresh hot fantastic portion great price fantastic taste beef in the house curry succulent and tender cooked perfectly a lovely meal authentic cooking we live very close to this Chinese and are very impressed with the food after using a different Chinese for over 25 years I feel as though we’ve been missing out YOU MUST TRY this place huge pancake rolls food for two days big portions pleasant service 10/10 sweet and sour source is to die for hope the chef...
