My partner I chose to stay locally for our recent visit for his birthday as the only thing he wanted to do was visit Meherin for his birthday supper.

Taz and his merry men are perfect hosts and the food is fantastic. The beer nice and chilled, wine is lovely. It is a relaxing place to eat and drink. Mike

The food from here is always top notch. The staff are very friendly and accommodating and are more than happy to help if you need anything changing on the menu.

Visit here regularly and will continue to do so, best indian in the area by a long shot. Food fresh and very tasty, owner taz and his staff couldnt do more for you if they tried.

Took ages to get starters. They were fine. Then ages to get mains. Meanwhile the takeaways were piling out from the back. Hello? We’re actually sitting at a table. Weird. Chicken tikka biryani was dry and unthrilling. Bhajis not great. Balti was good. Not as amazing as I expected, and rather expensive.

We come to Blackpool for a few days, it's Friday night we wanted an Indian takeaway, went onto Google, this restaurant come up, so glad we found it. It was beautifully cooked. We stayed in Thornton. The delivery was longer than expected due to the riots (not their fault. The phone line was easy to connect too. We ordered the mixed grill starter, chicken tikka masala, 2 X naan bread, chips, poppadoms, sauces and salad. Well worth it. Clear plates at the end. Would definitely recommend if you are a local or visiting the area.

I have been using the Meherin for years now, takeaway, Christmas, Birthdays etc. and it is the only consistent indian restaurant I have come across. Taz and his team are the best, friendly service, great knowledge on the dishes. Myself and my wife have been tonight, Sat 22 June 2024, for my birthday, Papadoms and chutney, chicken tikka south indian garlic (which is one of the most tastiest dishes I have ever had), fish bhuna, garlic rice, chips, keema naan and 2 1/2 pints of Lal Toofan £65. Eyes bigger than my belly we had to take some home, but that wont last long,,, Breakfast? wont be the first time !!!
