Couldn't even find it, drove round for about 50 mins and gave up, no signs, certainly unrecognisable roads ??? Thought it had closed tbh !!!

Food good especially gf fish chips. Prices average. Very busy and log wait but it was a Sunday in school holidays and we hadn’t booked. Will go again but at a quieter time. Nice ambience.

I visited the restaurant today for lunch and had a delicious tuna jacket potato. We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon at the garden centre. It was much easier to get there now. Thank you and Merry Christmas! Ver carta

Previously Good food decent service, however this time after a long queue, waitress service) would of surely been more effective? Was told NO lunch orders taken until after 12:40 , so waited 10 mins to order drinks cakes , then waited Another 46mins for them to arrive at our table?? This usually suffice restaurant is in Rapid decline !

Terrible service in The Gallery, 30 minute wait for 4 hot drinks, cake bowl of chips, although that should read cup of chips all for an inflated cost. In the end only got 3 hot drinks as the machine couldn’t cope anymore and neither could the staff . Tea was weak and cold and all this was served with a scowl and lots of muttering under the breath from sullen servers. Tables were left uncleared even though few customers and quite a number of staff.

We always have baguettes salad and crisps.however you can now swap crisps and salad and pay £2.50 for chips .it's bothered me all night ..so no reduction for giving up salad and crisps. But £2.50 for 11 chips ....wheres the logic ..we are being robbed x baffled at first but then realised we'd paid £7.50to replace items ???? We were table 41 .it was approx 11.45 on Friday its my ride out as I'm disabled ..even I worked out the con you are doing. I would like a reply back please to justify removing crisps and salad . .then charging for chips Ver carta

We were extremely disappointed with our experience at this restaurant. Upon arrival, we were informed that our order of two light breakfasts and eggs benedict would take 45 minutes, but it actually took over an hour for our food to arrive. One of the breakfasts was also of poor quality. It was clear that the restaurant was understaffed, as two employees mentioned they were operating with minimal staff for some time, not just due to the holiday rush. The management of the restaurant is not supporting their hardworking staff by making them work under such conditions. The situation would have been much worse if it weren't for the exceptional service provided by Helen, who handled our complaint...

We used to enjoy coming to this restaurant, but something has changed. The food is no longer good value for money and lacks quality. During a recent visit for breakfast with a friend, our food took a long time to arrive and was cold. The portions were small and the bacon was overcooked and dry. When we complained, we were unable to get a refund as we had already paid. Instead, we were offered cakes as compensation, which only made us feel sick. We decided we would no longer meet here for our regular catch ups. On a later visit with my husband, his chicken was too dry to even cut, and my meal was both expensive and tasteless. So disappointed with Melbick’s now. Used to love their restaurant, the menu USED to be varied and real value for money. E.g. two salads of your choice included in the deli meal chosen. Really nice food, and plenty on your plate. Called in there on Sunday 19/11/23 what a different story. I ordered two quiche, with only ‘one salad’ now, I use the term salad very lightly. It came with a small portion of pasta, on a child’s size plate. When the young lady, who I think may have been a manager, bought it over, I didn’t see any salad. I asked her if it came with salad (for which we had paid £3.25 each). She said “it’s on your plate”. When I moved some pasta to find it, it consisted of a quarter pie... Ver carta
