"Lovely pub with amazing staff! Laura, in particular, was really helpful helping us find a table and recommending food for us. We shared a selection of the small plates they were great, and perfect sharer options for friends out for drinks and nibbles. The food was a little slow coming out, and some bits were a little cold, but we put that down to ordering quite a few different dishes, and it didn’t spoil the experience overall. We did witness an uncomfortable incident where a very unhappy customer was complaining in quite an aggressive and intimidating way, but Laura kept her calm and handled it amazingly well. It was hard to watch, so must’ve been awful to be on the receiving end of that kind of complaint management should be proud of their staff!!"

Went to TV his long time favourite pub this evening. OMG what a disappointment, dirty, too few staff (who were grumpy), blinds to keep the light out so you can see the TV. S hole fire manager Ver carta

This is a favourite of mine, the food is lovely and great choice of drinks. It's a friendly atmosphere good for families but also if you just fancy a couple of drinks with friends. Alina does an amazing job running the place and always has a welcoming smile. :

Had the new steak sandwich for lunch today. Cooked to perfection and the extra sweet potato fries were a great level up from the salad. Alina provided exquisite service and the pint of Guinness was cold and fresh. Recommend to anyone for a traditional English meal!!
