that was great. disappointingly they had to order from the valentins daily menu, which was more expensive than the normal menu!

Great . Staff amazing , so friendly , the food was great as usual apart from rubarb crumble. Too much stewed fruit. Not enough crumble . Will defo be back tho !

We went to the Metro for our anniversary, the ambience was perfect with fairy lights decorating the covered patio area. Service was spot on and the food delicious. Would definitely recommend.

beautiful restaurant with cozy ambiente and covered garden area. for me it was a little cool because people often walk out of the garden. eating was nice, nothing amazing, but good portions and hearty eating. it was perfect for a casual start with friends.

Such a shame, after a good meal the waiter tried charging us £30 more on top of the bill! When challenged it was responded by the boss with he can’t count. I was wondering how much this happens, as if I never checked it, it would of been paid with a Handsome tip! So if you go, check the bill Ver carta

came last night about this little jewel on the way to winterville and what a tasty bite. cannot remember the last time I enjoyed a restaurant so much, the atmosphere is beautiful and the personal lovely! we ordered a share plate and the meat fell out of the bone and incredibly delicious. a perfect start in our Christmas evening!

The service at the venue was encompassing and engaging from start to finish. It was as you were welcomed by a long lost friend! I was impressed they even when they did not have something on the menu, it was dealt with professionally but with such charisma you found yourself not caring one jot. There is a lovely romantic setting with candles and low level lighting at the restaurant in the back section. They have also decorated the rear garden as a 'chalet ' over winter meaning the garden can still get full use. They are obviously proud of it and rightly so. I could not recommend this venue enough for the service. The food was lovely too and I cannot wait to return.

at £16.95 per for a frying dinner they expect something special or at least for it to be edible. I ordered the lamb, the meat was delicious, but that was it. the evening meal was served in a bowl, drown in a not particularly beautiful sweet gravur, which tasted all the same. a piece of brokkoli, 2 pastilles and a carrot and 4 stone-hard “roasting potatoes”, one could not even cut with a steak knife. the yorkshire pudding was burned up and so tender everywhere else, it was just a big disappointment. I complained politely about the kartoffels and the sweet and the amount of “gread” at the end of the meal. they said they would give it back to the cook, but no more word about it from the staff....
