Doesn't look much from the outside but don't let that put you off! It's like a TARDIS inside, clean and well presented. Excellent food, with friendly helpful service at great value. Couldn't fault it and wouldn't want to. I can thoroughly recommend it.

Absolutely amazing Roast dinner Sunday. There were 9 of us but all the food came out together, pipping hot and so delicious. The staff were wonderful and a credit to the pub managers. Extremely good value, the food quality was excellent. Will definitely return again

Visited the Royal George with my brother and nephew. Was served in a timely manner by a very polite young lady Ordered a 2 course meal for £10.90 consisting of lasagne with salad and garlic bread followed by cheesecake. The lasagne was delicious and filling and I'll be back for more at a later date. Ver carta

I just had lunch here, good lamb and the woman says it's the best lasagna she had. forget to mention that as a meal on the midday menu was surprisingly cheap. exceptional helpful and friendly staff. very beautiful garden also. the beer is in excellent condition. also for public transport and local shops handy.

Great food, a wide range of drinks to cater for everyone.Visited today 5/11/23 for Sunday lunch with my wife and we were not disappointed. Service was attentive without being over the top or pushy, the food was amazing.To top it off the log fire was burning well that added to the pub’s atmosphere. Great pub and would recommend it to anyone.
