"I work in central Birmingham and called in here for lunch on what was probably one of the coldest days of the year physically and climatically it couldn’t be further from Mexico! I ordered a burrito with pork, medium salsa, optional cheese and the supplement guacamole. It came with the standard refried beans and rice, all wrapped in a pretty large tortilla. The girl behind the counter was friendly and very pleasant not overselling anything and she wrapped the burrito very well. Before when I have eaten burritos or fajitas I have found the content spills out everywhere. Here it was compacted in very well and there was no spillage when I ate it; yet it was still a pretty decent sized snack to eat. Pork is the second most expensive meat filling behind beef and with the extra 50p guacamole the whole thing came to about £7.50 which some people might find expensive, but the restaurant is in an extremely busy mainline railway station so one has to expect and understand higher prices (although as I said the burrito was big and had a lot of filling). It seemed to go cold quite quickly but this may not be the restaurant’s fault: I went on a bitterly cold day, and being a “fast food” type establishment in a station the doors are wide open. The restaurant is situated just off the main station concourse after the ticket barriers in what Birmingham New Street describe as its “Red Lounge” this comprises a strip of cafes and shops laid out either side of the numerous escalators that lead down to the station platforms. For my part I wasn’t traveling at the time I ate but my commuter season ticket allowed me to access this area of the station in any event. Inside the restaurant is decorated in a generally dark fashion with a few chairs both metal and upholstered. I wanted to sit in the corner but ended up moving tables to avoid sitting in some burrito dropping from a previous customer. They sold what they described as a range of Mexican beer but I could only make out Peroni in bottles and Sam Miguel on draft (Italian and Spanish respectively, albeit the San Miguel had a plastic cup over its tap suggesting it was not on that particular day). There is wallpaper with a range of (stereotypical) Mexican themes male figure in colourful poncho plus sombrero and guitar; tapas dishes; Central American cars etc This is not a “date night” place to eat, but as a place for a snack whether you are going on a train journey or not then it is more than adequate and I would be more than happy to eat there again."

I had the worst lunch here. Hope won’t get food poisoning. Too expensive for the worst lunch. Never go back .

I went to this restaurant for some nachos. They were £2, not too bad for a nice little snack to help with a long train delay. It only came with a small dip, which wasn't sufficient. The service was okay, but the drinks were expensive. I paid £2.25 for water, which was more than the food. That seemed a bit ridiculous.

I’ve been trying to find the branch at Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham road . Casa De Burrito. Just had to leave a review for this branch’s food . Absolutely APPALLING! In a nutshell . Waited an hour for it , to be delivered stone cold and dried out . To top it all my eldest who had the tacos now has diahorrea. ! NEVER AGAIN!!

We went here as our train was delayed and we were getting a little hangry and we did not regret it! Whilst it was definitely on the expensive side, all train station food is! We were served by a lady called Abeni and she was very knowledgeable and knew how to make us a vegan burrito and everything that was and wasn't suitable. It was really delicious, tasted fresh and was nice and hot! Ver carta

Quite frequently popped in here for a train beer before catching my connecting train but the price has risen from slightly steep to a whopping £5.45 which is beyond ridiculous. Kicking themselves in the teeth with that as there's no way in seven hells I'm paying that for a darn lager!! Worth noting if you are going in you will likely have to knock on the staff door to get service as otherwise you'll miss said connecting door.

We arrived in Birmingham by train and before going to our hotel in Chinatown (ibis) Had a snack here. I had the medium burrito and it had so much in it that I questioned the girls ability to close it. They put the tortilla on kitchen foil and the wrap it so tightly in the outer grease roof wrap that she closed it with ease. You then peel it back to eat it very efficient and excellent quality. My wife had tortilla chips with dips which was ok but the burrito was the name of the game here.

The kids opted for this rather than queue at a restaurant . 4 people behind a counter asking you questions which you could barely hear at a break neck pace . Tables littered . The lady came to clear when she saw five of us going to a table to eat . However she wiped all of the food on to the floor ! When putting the food in the bin , what a fab idea to have seperate bins for food and non consumable products . You would think so . But when it’s been tightly wrapped in foil and paper and mushed together it’s a smelly messy procedure .£7 a head to have a butty that was of average taste thrown at you then stinky hands and clothes dripped on when you clear away . No Thankyou . Not to mention trud... Ver carta

So first of all this is one of the first times i've been in this place and a member of staff has been visible; however much to her credit she'd never worked in here before and clearly hadn't been taught on what to do. Got a veggie burrito, however when i go towards having it always seems sweaty and have what i can assume is the salsa dripping from it. The burrito was nice though although like this. Again credit to the member of staff who had been thrown in at the deep end but clearly could have been shown what to do as when i ordered the nachos with my burrito and drink (meal deal) she ended up serving it on the till as the burrito, the drink separately and as 4 side orders of jalepenos whic...

I was very hungry, so I went into Mi Casa in Birmingham New Street Station expecting a similar standard to Chipotle or Tortilla. Due to being very hungry and the cost of the chicken burrito being £6.99, I was expecting large portions and interesting options to put in my burrito. However, after my experience please avoid eating here! I will start by saying that I walked in and no staff members were visible. A lady about 2 minutes of me waiting came out and was pleasant and inviting. So I thought i’d give the place the benefit of doubt based on her greeting. But, I wish i’d left, as I ended up with the most miserable looking burrito. The beans were a weird paste that she spreaded onto the wrap...
