"Asian food is known, Japanese maybe, but Mongolian? the principle in mongo's restaurant is the same as in other Asian restaurant. choose a table with a menu drink, then decide whether to strike a dish or permanent. but then the jointness stops. because in the mongo's restaurant you decide for the case that you only select one food not the dish directly, but only the marinade. then go to the theke, where you can put the food yourself together, and then cook it briefly. is also unique that you can also choose two meals, which can then be individually assembled. you decide for the ever-expanding variants, here known as totally mongo 's then you can always strike again. which is also different from other more popular asia restaurants, is the price. Here you pay for the exclusiveity. the total mongo 's costs just over 20€. if you choose this restaurant, you should also choose these variants. for the two alternatives: 1 favourite food 2 favorite foods cost much more than a simple menu at chinese, namely: 1 food: mongo's one way 13,90 € 2 food: mongo's two way 17,90 € but it is now not a chinese tasty, but a mongolic restaurant, so also the food: here only a cut of the rind: Conclusion: you have to be brave what new ones try, like kangaro, but it is worth it"

great concept: the dishes can be compiled and are freshly prepared by the chefs. the diversity is incredible! the personal is very friendly and the atmosphere is very large. unfortunately the prices are very high compared to other asiates - it is worth seeing on weekdays!

the restaurant mongos is one of my absolutely favorite restaurants in bochum. the dishes they can make themselves together are always perfectly prepared and the variety of the offer is incredible. a great concept. also the employees were always very friendly at my visit and the price/performance ratio is top.

the chain, mongo’s, has already been known to me before the opening in bochum. I was disappointed with the actual offer at my last visit: many daring (meat) feeds were not available. for a price that is 30% above my favorite asiate, I would have expected more. I can't say anything bad about what was in stock: in the opposite.

you have really great appetit, then the mongos is a perfect locality. the system of the restaurant chain is this that the gast itself is put together on a buffet which chooses sauces, sits on the table again and the foods are then fried and processed by the kitchen staff. the gast gets to the table its finished peeling and can either go once, twice or so often he wants to go to buffet. this is asked before. the ambiente is tasteful and modern. it is recommended to reserve a table in advance.

I was at lunch in mongos. totally chic device, super cozy. the service was supernett . also the food was great. point deduction for the selection. which was so spersome, perhaps was because the restaurant had just opened. The delicious brot that was served in front was eaten ruck ruck ruck. to my mindfulness was then still delivered brot. the main dish tranchen from the duck breast with sweet potato rösti and coconut chili foam was a dense. If I'm back in bochum, I hope I have enough time to go back to the mongos.

we already knew the mongos from there and more often because it belongs to our absolute favourite restaurants. in bochum we came without reservation after a measurable and only got the only free space that has not completely agreed to us. we had a very nice service that made us more fun with his kind and his humor. after eating we actually wanted to go, but he told us that in the lower area a very cozy little bit is released and we could have that. we would like to order that dessert for 2 (which is in bochum, by the way, viiiiel better than there) and drank 2 cocktails (which are great, absolutely taste.) Conclusion: the employee has done everything right! and we had a great evening.

unrestricted. we were with 4 people for the first time in mongos today. more visits are planned. the personal is super friendly, attentive, but not intrusive. we had reserved online and got a table on the upheaval assigned. first we were asked about the drinks, then in the meantime we got the boards on which the desired sauce was noted. as we had no idea how sharp the sauces were, we had to advise. the whole came very friendly and even humorous. then we searched out the suppe and various inserts. today there was a cocoss soup that we have enriched with sweet, nut and noodles. very tasty. and after that it went to the inserted . each hospitable could be a peel with sweet meat, meat, fish, exot...

"On an early Saturday evening in mid-January 2024 we spontaneously decided to go to the Leonidas in Bochum to eat Greek as we were just nearby. At 17:00 the first guests were waiting for the entrance door. Most guests apparently had reserved. The friendly Greek and forward-looking boss of the house, who received us, could then give us a good table with an overview of the large guest room. The ambience of the Leonidas is a bit very strange and needy here you do not expect a Greek restaurant. It seems that there was a brewery industry here a long time ago or something similar or what it is called. All in the 70s/80s design dressed with dark wood and wood carvings and butt slices. But no matter what, the Old Scool Design couldn't scare us off. Distinguishing can be the 151 ! positions comprehensive menu, apparently from the last century, with children and senior plates why seniors eat something different than younger guests, who decides who is a senior? The main focus of the map is meat and pommeslastig, with what the German average citizen probably associates with Greek food: Gyros , Souzouki , Souvlaki , Bifteki and so on. Rhodes Plates, Hermes Plates, Marathon Plates, Athens Plates, Cyclops and so on come from the 1980s. But what kind of a Hawaii fillet with pineapples and Gouda has to look for in a Greek restaurant??? So whoever stands on a bunch of meat with fries and beer is definitely right here. Uniquely meat and of course pommeslastig no guest had ordered the disc potatoes customary in Greece were also the plates of the other guests this evening in January 2024. No matter what we were in the Leonidas because of the food that is more suitable for domestic Greek cuisine. So we ordered Zaziki, Taramosalata fish rogen puree, Calamariakia baby calamari with garlic cream, zander fillet for my wife yes in Northern Greece comes the freshwater fish Zander before , stifado, water, white wine Imiglykos and at the end a Greek coffee and a glass of Ouzo Pilavas. The Zaziki was better and more spicy than what else you get in Greek restaurants. Here you go. Also the fish rogen puree tasted excellent, as well as the fried babycalamari, which had a beautiful thin delicate beautifully spiced pannade. The Zanderfilet with a few shrimps and vegetable strips in white wine sauce, with rice and leaf salad with honey mustard dressing tasted good to my wife. I was particularly interested in the Apo Ton Fourno dishes from the oven and here in particular the Stifado beef stew dish with small onions, as Stifado is very rare to get in Greek restaurants. The meat was tender and the small onions were still nice to bite. The Sosse could have been a little thicker. The little peasant salad was boring. The Imiglykos was without a special character; also not half-sweet without the slightly sweet note. Unfortunately, the Greek coffee, which was very weak, was also disappointing. Pros: the host asked about the degree of sweetness of coffee, just as it is common in Greece outside the tourist centers and in Germany in good Greek restaurants, since after-sales is not possible. It was pleasing that there are Ouzo Pilavas here, because the boring industry Ouzo Ouzo 12 does not drink Greeks, only the Germans fall into advertising. Conclusion: Everything in everything for us unfortunately only medium. Who, on the other hand, wants to eat a lot of meat and fries, is probably a good thing in Leonidas. If I ever go to the Leonidas in Bochum, then only to taste the typical local Greek dishes that can also be found on the map, such as Mezes Midia Florinis , Melitzanes , Spanaki , Florinis , Kalokerino , Psiti Feta also Kalamaria , Chtapódi or Sykoti , Rigan ."
