Monsoon Indian Restaurant

IAMSTUFFEDand I smell like curryAll good signs for going into an Indian restaurant.

Family of 4 ate here after leaving Eastern Eye Balti House last night - poor service there.

Best Indian restaurant I’ve had in London absolutely amazing 10/10 would 100% recommend. Will 100% be coming back, best customer service and very affordable Ver carta

The food at Monsoon was very tasty and the staff cordial. It is not licensed, but you can pick up drinks at the off license next door. Overall, I would recommend eating here.

We had a really lovely meal here, the children enjoyed the food (as well as the complimentary ice cream and chocolate! as much as we did and the staff were welcoming and efficient. Recommended

Monson is tucked away in tufnell park. Its a locals restaurant really, and looks random but the food is excellent and the service friendly. Made to spice level you want, each curry was delicious. Ver carta

Monsoon Indian Restaurant, in York Rise NW5, was a pleasant family run business. The staff was very welcoming!!! The starters was very small, but considering what you are paying, it is worth it. Food overall was good. Always love the Chicken malsala. Would definately recommend.

Absolutely disgusting food, customer service … so so rude and adamant that spending £50 for something like ****’ in a Tupperware box was ok out right refused to re deliver most of our items that was drenched in floating oils looked nothing like any Indian I have ever seen before. Said ‘next time we make it right’ This food was not fit to eat. After refusing to compromise I asked for a refund which was another blatant ‘NO’ I did end up getting part refund after a very long task !!! Bottom line is AVOID this restaurant at all costs Nasty nasty nasty vile place, people FOOD !!!

Every year, the first Christmas card of the season arrives early in December from Monsoon. It comes with a discount for a meal costing over £30. However, every year we struggle to spend enough to make use of the discount. Many things, including restaurant prices, have changed since covid, so we are hopeful for next year. One reason for the lower prices at Monsoon is that they do not have a liquor license. Fortunately, there is a beer and wine option available just two doors down. Despite the lack of alcohol, Monsoon has everything else you could want, and the dishes are tasty and plentiful. The waitstaff are happy to provide excellent suggestions from the extensive menu.
