"This was the 2nd time my Mum I came here for afternoon tea we were as impressed, if not more so, as we were before. The weather was a little unsettled so the staff had set us a place on the sofas with a low table. Unfortunately my Mum has a couple of mobility when I mentioned this they were so helpful. Although the restaurant area was set up for breakfast, Paul was more than happy to clear re-lay a table for us so that Mum would be more comfortable. Our afternoon tea was delicious the service was excellent. I didn't catch the name of the young man who looked after us but he was very friendly helpful. What I really liked was that whilst the staff were attentive, they weren't constantly interrupting us we didn't feel at all rushed. We will definitely be returning."

Sandwiches and scones were fabulous however cakes not so. Chocolate brownie dry and bitter. Eccles cake over spiced and inedible. Honey cake tasteless. Service very slow. Sadly won’t rush back

Booked for a friends special birthday. We sat in conservatory which was pleasant but the rattan sofas were not the most comfortable to sit on for a couple of hours. The food was average and cake selection disappointing.

This was a gift from our son and is family. A lovely relaxing afternoon in Beaulieu, followed by a delightful selection of sandwiches and cakes. I am more of a savoury person so found the selection of cakes a bit too sweet, however we were given a box to take the cakes we could not manage, home for later.

Overall the afternoon tea was very pleasant. The waitress forgot to bring the main event but did bring cream, jam and the wrong order of tea before being asked for the rest! The scones were warm and good, the sandwiches nice variety but had probably been made a little while it was a very hot day and so maybe not stored carefully enough the little cakes were good but nothing outstanding for the price tag though although the view of the garden was nice and the staff friendly.
