"Went with the extended family last week. Had forgotten how good it is, in my opinion one of the very best restaurants in Hamburg. I notice many reviews mention the price, and it is not a cheap restaurant, but you definitely get what you pay for. They use high quality ingredients and the food is cooked extremely well. The atmosphere is not overly formal and they are very kids friendly they are happy to make something for small kids... It is quite hard to decide what to eat as almost everything is a special and the owner goes into so much detail, you end up slightly confused. It's better to decide if you want meat, fish, pasta etc and let the owner choose... Having said that, I tried several of the dishes and they were all excellent the lamb kidneys were expertly cooked and my veal cheeks were melt in the mouth. In the past, I have eaten outside on the terrace when it was warmer it's a better option that inside if the weather allows."

I've rarely eaten so well. My recommendation: Bring time (and also a little money) and make a trip through the Mediterranean cuisine, as you will not experience it otherwise. It's just great what the owner pair offers to its guests here!

We just left the restaurant happy. Extremely high-quality and well presented food at a fair price. There is a small story for every walk and the owner pair is extremely hospitable and very attentive. We'll be back. Absolute recommendation!

We discovered this restaurant by chance 2 years ago and fortunately it is and remains a secret tip in Hamburg! Pietro and his wife have created a small oasis in the city. Whether in the garden or in the cozy rooms of the restaurant’s-man feels like a different world, as if you were far away, on vacation!
