Beautiful place with home made dishes and great beer and wine. Also has a inventive children's play area. Convenient if visiting the Mauthausen memorial. Lovely staff proper family business.

Stopped here in the afternoon had a nice glass of wine and beer along with two amazing dishes of dried meats, cured meats, cheese, vegetables. And the cake with blueberries and cream sauce was to die for.

Have been to this restaurant twice and it doesn't disappoint. Amazing views and exceptional good and drink. Don't speak much German but you'll find somewhere working there who does. Would definitely recommend if you're visiting this area!!

A very cozy yet simple place with a nice terrace. There are not many options you can choose from and, at least during summer time, they only serve cold dishes, but they are really fresh and genuine. Their dairy are all self-produced, which is nice. The staff was friendly and could speak english too. Definitely worth trying in my opinion.

It is one of the view restaurants in that area that opens on Sunday night. Because of that we booked a table for 5 people and made a reservation for Schweinsbraten Bradl . This dish includes: a big pot of soup, dumplings, sauerkraut and the pork meet. The taste was awesome and more than enough!! The meat was that soft, that you could have eat the pork meet using the spoon only ... simply awesome!! : I drunk Most mixed with soda water which is a traditional low percentage alcoholic drink. Perfect!! Also the price is more than fair: 13€ per person for the main dish. 2,5€ for the Most.

My family and I stopped in here after touring Mauthausen Concentration Camp for a late lunch before heading back to Vienna, and we could not have chosen a better restaurant. Despite our speaking little to no German, and the waitress (owner? speaking minimal English, she went above and beyond to help us in selecting our meal (a cold cut plate with vegetables, roast beef, prosciutto, bread, and sour cream: it was incredibly delicious, and we ordered a second after finishing the first . From the absolutely beautiful setting and charming construction and decor to the superb customer service and gourmet local cuisine, this restaurant is the complete package. We normally don 't dine at places like this because we tend to travel on a tight budget, but we stopped in at around 10 am just to inquire as to whether we could leave our car parked in their huge gravel parking area under the trees while we visited the Mauthausen Memorial just up the road.
