We had a lovely lunch here today. Staff were very friendly and the place was lovely and clean. Food was a definite too!

Service was quite slow, but it was a bank holiday weekend and they’d been let down and were short staff which was out of their control. Food is nice and good value.

Fabulous cafe in centre of Brampton. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Food is great. Prices are terrific. Never disappointed when we visit. Highly recommended.

had a very tasteful breakfast today. my friend had the normal size and I had the little one that was plentiful for me. cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. staff efficient and friendly.

Stopped here for lunch on our way to Gilsland. We had substantial portions of very tasty food, and a proper cup of tea served by friendly staff. The upstairs room had an interesting mix of furniture that we liked too.

my own and husband only called a coffee and the place was empty. when we sat there, customers came and ordered food and drinks. two couples have eaten there and drink before us. I asked about our drinks. When our drinks arrived cold, I took them back. had to sit a while before they drink me again. everything in half an hour before I got a cup of coffee.

Don’t go in here if you’re in any kind of hurry .. waited minutes to take our order for Breakfast, then a further minutes wait for breakfast to arrive ... food was ok , but the service is terrible, a party of to us who ordered before us .. of them received there breakfast, and one chap was still waiting for his after we had finished ours , as we left he just said forget it , cancel it , waitress responded.. OK .. wasn’t bothered , another couple got up and walked out ..

visited here many paintings under the previous property. I was in caffe yesterday with my man and took our dog. my man sat down with a coffee. I came to him and then was told that we had to move up, because dogs are not allowed in the ground floor, like an "open air restaurant". the doors and windows were tightly closed, it was raining and cold) so I have no idea what that means! the dog is and blind, the steep staircase is not an option for him. we went to the howard arms, next door, instead. great coffee, beautiful staff and dog friendly. very disappointed in the coffee shop.

A group of of us descended upon this wonderful café and were greeted by the most friendly staff who showed us up to a first floor table with a lovely view of the town. The lunchtime menu was comprehensive and included breakfast choices. We...chose different meals between the of us and every one was perfect! Tea, coffee and beer accompanied the meal. They were large portions. The full breakfast looked amazing, egg benedict, omette and all the trimmings, salmon on scrambled egg and avocado, waffle with bacon and brie and my leek and potato soup were all very substantial meals. The quality was high. The service was cheerful and friendly and the bill was a very pleasant surprise. This place has...
