"I was a regular customer at Mr Sushi in Zevenaar. Always been satisfied with their sushi. Today I ordered soft shell spicy tuna and a hand roll. I have ordered this very often in recent years. I was surprised how the sushi looked upon arrival. Much smaller than normal! It looked more like a maki than a special sushi, which means you pay more for it. I paid €21.55 for this?! You can see it in the photo. My hand roll was also not what it normally looks like. I decided to call Mr Sushi to tell my story. I first got a female colleague on the phone and then she handed the phone to a male colleague. Once again I told my story that I always order from them and that this is the first time I have experienced this. The male colleague immediately said that he would not make another roll for me, because I thought the sushi was too small. Just to clarify: I did not ask for a new role. I wanted to express my surprise and disappointment because you paid for it. The gentleman didn't understand me and gave me a tip to look up sushi on Google, so that I could get a better idea than I probably have. Disparaging! I would like to reiterate what my experiences have been in recent years and I know exactly what I am ordering since this was not my first time with them. The gentleman absolutely disagreed and was very blunt with me as a customer. I said that I will not order from them again, because I am not satisfied with how I was being treated. You can't even express your dissatisfaction with this branch. The gentleman saw it as a threat and indicated that I was cheating on him. Very annoying conversation, far from customer friendliness and any recognition. We are not allowed to give our opinion, they are not open to that. I think it's very sad. I won't spend another cent. Terrible!"

Voorheen een prima sushi punt. Helaas zijn ze flink achteruit gegaan. Bezorging is zeer wisselend, van vlot tot bijna 2 uur tijd. En inmiddels is de vis amper nog te vinden in de sushi. What a bad thing. My daughter placed an order on March 23. After waiting 1.5 hours they went by the store and were told it would be there in half an hour. After half an hour I received a call that the order was canceled and they would get the money back. Have not received anything yet. Om 17;00 hebben we sushi besteld met als bezorgoptie ‘zo snel mogelijk’. Om 17:50 hebben we gebeld en zou het binnen een half uur bij ons zijn. Om 18:20 hebben wij opnieuw gebeld en zou het nog 20 minuten duren voordat ze eraan zouden komen. Aan de telefoon bleven ze zeggen dat het erg druk was en dat wij in een afgelegen gebied wonen waardoor het lang duurt, met een attitude waar je U tegen zegt. Ze konden niks voor ons betekenen en hebben uiteindelijk de bestelling geannuleerd. Nu maar afwachten of we ook daadwerkelijk ons geld terug gaan krijgen. Ver carta

Helaas gaat de kwaliteit achteruit. Om 17.00 een bestelling geplaatst, om 19.30 uur pas geleverd. De gefrituurde sushi en de gyoza, die warm hoorden te zijn, waren natuurlijk ijskoud, smaak gaat achteruit erg zoute gerookte zalm, saus minder van smaak. Bestelling is ook niet compleet geleverd, de unagi nigri en flamed salmon nigri zaten er niet bij. Jammer, ook omdat er totaal geen begrip getoond wordt. Geen excuses voor het lange wachten. Wel om 18.50 uur gebeld met een nette vraag wat de status van de bestelling is. Er werd gezegd dat de bezorger onderweg was met meerdere bestellingen en dat het nog wel even kon duren maar totaal geen verontschuldiging of uitleg waarom het langer duurt, we...

Ik bestel hier regelmatig, maar het werd nu echt tijd voor een review. Dit is ook bedoeld als feedback aan Mr. Sushi. Doe er alsjeblieft iets mee. We komen graag terug, maar dan moet het beter. Helaas is de kwaliteit erg wisselend, zowel van de sushi als van de service. Deze review is niet gebaseerd op een eenmalig voorval. Vandaag was het weer raak: het was druk. Rond 16:00 uur besteld voor 18:00 uur. Om 18:30 gebeld en dan krijg je excuses; het is druk en ze gaan er nu echt mee aan de slag. Om 19:30 nog een keer bellen. Nog meer excuses, gratis pokebowls en een kortingscode voor de volgende bestelling. Hartstikke fijn, maar dat stilt de honger op dat moment niet. Om 19:55 krijg je bericht...
