Nice cafe at the end of Mutley, Friendly staff. Nicely cooked food, hat homemade chicken bacon and leek in cheese sauce. Love the coffee will return more regularly

today it went by and the place was full of busy dealers. interesting to see when the lower part of the front window signed: “Hunger Fix” looks positiw and that a new caffe can be opened soon.

Love this place. Have been here many times over the past year. The food is fresh and cooked with love. I would recommend the cottage pie and the roasts are delicious with very generous portions. The puddings are so naughty I need a nap after...them. Well done guys its great to see an independant cafe amongst the depressing chains.

Live locally fancied a bacon and egg bap so Partner hopped across road Greeted by Very friendly staff. Took seat in spacious and clean cafe with friendly atmosphere. very quick service of Bacon and egg with a little mustard and tomato sauce served in a...fresh soft whit baps. Thankful wrapped in foil with a serviette and paper bag easy to carry home. Thank you very much. it was Yummy! See you again soon.

we have visited this cozy caffe on mutley plain, plymouth, now for a few years since we live very locally. sue they husband gary are friendly host sue cooks wonderfully made home lunch specialties every day, so very tasty, generous portions .so good value for money, besides their extremely extensive regular menu that contains breakfast coffee etc. it has recently begun to serve a selection of roasts with the whole veg, even on a Sunday. manname of victoria

Munchies is a boon for anyone living locally as for many they have their main meal of the day there EVERY DAY and we are all on friendly terms with each other and the owners Sue and Gary. They produce a choice of main meals...daily which are delicious with a home cooked taste that are modestly priced. The breakfast crowd enjoy a generous fry-up and Christmas lunch is a joy to eat. Always busy, friendly and we would be lost without our Munchies. Can't fill in the next 2 properly as am there at different days and times for either coffee, lunch or tea throughout the year.

I would seriously recommend this little gem to anyone who appreciates home cooked food, I go out to eat in the Plymouth area very often for lunch breakfast and dinner and recently been a little disheartened by the overpriced menus with no care or love...in the food. This menu is extremely fairly priced I can’t believe the value, yet everything is home made and they have loads of specials on, vegan and vegetarian options too... I had a breakfast today which was one of the best I’ve had in Plymouth, I wasn’t a fan of the hash browns but everything else was good quality and tasty... will definitely be back I want to try all your specials!

we pass several times the week at this gentle independent caffe near the upper western end of the mutley plain. it made a steady trade and was useful, away from the formula style of the great chain coffee shops all over the street. it came out of the. curldown, but not again to call the disease and personal reasons. it is now clear that the owners have hired the trade. this is a good location and the unit has been very good for decades as a top flight men's outfitter and then as a radical bookshop. mutley plain has a dense and high coming in hinterland. it weeps for a high quality bistro or restaurant. there is a lower ground floor with a lot of space for a kitchen. we hope someone can see a...

I am going to be understanding and a little generous. My first visit to this little cafe. The prices are really cheap so if cheap meals are what you want you wont go too far wrong here. A basic fried breakfast is what you get...with a better quality toast. Nothing special but good simple cooking. At the time of my visit one member of staff was doing everything a little later joined by a second. While service was fast and polite I would normally expect more contact time. But I am definitely not going to hold that against this place.
