"Decided to try somewhere different for a change, some friends seem to visit regularly so thought it would be nice. Service was friendly and prompt, but sadly none of us were impressed with the food. All the curries were obviously reheated sauces rather than fresh and rather tasteless, I feel mean but it was on a par with a low cost supermarket ready meal. We ordered a naan that is described as 'stuffed with cheese ' on the menu and sounded interesting absolutely hilarious, I don 't think there was a scrap of cheese in it. The cokes we ordered to drink were flat. On the plus side, the meal was quite inexpensive, but we didn 't feel offered particularly great value. Couldn 't be bothered to complain, mainly as the meal was inexpensive, but won 't return."

I always have a pleasant and welcoming experience at this restaurant. The food is delicious and the staff is fantastic. My favorite dishes are the garlic tikka and they also offer off-menu masala fries if you request them.

Had a fantastic meal with my friends at this restaurant. The food was delicious and came at a reasonable price. The best part is, you can bring your own drinks. The staff provided excellent service and I will definitely be coming back. In fact, I already booked to go again this week!

Just come back from Naaz, OMG the nicest Indian I've had in years. I would recommend to anyone, the restaurant had a relaxing feel, plenty of space between tables unlike others that just want ro ram in as many as possible. The staff were very friendly and helped me to make my decision about my meal as I'm fussy Generous portions and took the leftovers home, would definitely go again. X

Absolutely amazing. We travelled up from Cornwall to see friends so we had to go to our favourite place Naaz. The food was fantastic as always I was craving my absolute favourite Prawn Royale it was as delicious as I remember. It is always our first choice for a curry. The food, service staff are all first class its BYO so its not even an expensive night out but its a brilliant night. I cannot reccomend this place enough I can't wait til we are back up north for my favourite curry again.

We decided to try out Naaz this Christmas for a change. We were greeted with popadoms, Christmas crackers, and various dips to start. The mixed starter we shared was delicious. Opting for the 4-course Indian meal, our mains included 4 different dishes, naan bread, and rice. It was a delightful experience that left us feeling satisfied. The restaurant also offered 4 different dessert options, I went with the gulab jaman but there was also chocolate gato and Christmas pudding with custard available. We will definitely be returning next year. Thank you for a memorable Christmas meal, see you in the new year!

"The welcome we received was pleasant, although not very personal, and our details were not checked, which was surprising considering how difficult it was to secure a reservation. The restaurant is not licensed, so guests are welcome to bring their own drinks. My husband and I brought two bottles of champagne, but we were not offered an ice bucket and were given standard wine glasses instead of flutes. The food was served promptly, starting with an amuse bouche of butternut squash veloute with a creamy accompaniment served in egg boxes. The chef explained the dish himself, and it was delicious. The second course, an aged rice dish reminiscent of a soupy risotto flavored with parmesan and espresso, was my least favorite. I found it poorly presented and the coffee flavor didn't come through well. The third course, a beautifully cooked lamb cutlet finished on a barbecue outside, was accompanied by flavorful lentils. However, the broccoli that came with it was plain and could have used some additional flavor. The dish was not explained to us. The fourth dish, which I initially thought was eel, turned out to be smoked eel and was served with beetroot. This was one of my favorite dishes of the night. We were served two desserts: a warm chocolate foam with orange sorbet and a deconstructed rhubarb custard with pink meringue pieces, both of which were delicious. The bill was not presented to us, so we followed the lead of other guests who left cash on the table as they left. My husband had a nice chat with the chef, and I joined in after a visit to the restroom. The chef was very knowledgeable and skilled with flavors. Overall, I was a bit disappointed by the lack of personality in presenting and explaining each dish. The experience felt somewhat impersonal and lacked interest. I believe guest interaction is crucial, so my tip would be for the restaurant to take the time to engage with guests, even if it means spending less time in the kitchen. I did not give a perfect score due to the presentation and slightly underwhelming flavors in some dishes. I believe that in fine dining, every element of the dish should be bursting with flavor. Despite this, we had an enjoyable evening and would return if we are able to secure a reservation."
