For authentic dhaba-style Indian dishes, look no further than this small restaurant opposite Mestre station. It's my top recommendation over any fancy Indian eatery in the city. During my five-day stay in Venice, I ate here three nights in a row. The food is exceptional, and you can ask the waiter to customize the flavors to your liking. The dal tadka paired perfectly with the jeera rice, and I couldn't get enough. The staff is incredibly friendly and chatty.
