"I visited this evening for tea and found plenty of options to choose from! I opted for the Tex Mex chicken burger, which was delicious and offered great value for money. The service was excellent and very welcoming. For dessert, I had the chocolate brownie, which was absolutely tasty. I would definitely recommend this place and plan to visit again soon!"

We went for tea tonight ,I had the beef sizzler and my husband had the tex mex burger both excellent!.Great staff very friendly.Definately recommend the hand cut chips too

Can't recommend enough, Steve could not have been more accomadating and helpful, creating a warm friendly atmosphere for a great night. Hats off to the chef, amazing food and rose to the man v food style spicey chicken wing challenge!!! Will be returning very soon.

Dropped in today and has a Sunday lunch and drinks, great staff and excellent service especially Katie she was amazing with the kids. Great menu including plenty of gluten free options for my husband. Thank you to Steve and Gavin for making us welcome. Will most definitley be back� Ver carta

The new menu is incredible! After testing the team with a party of 19, I can genuinely say it was some of the best food I've had in quite a while. They managed everything flawlessly. The staff is laid-back and very accommodating. I highly recommend this place to anyone, and there's also some fantastic live music!

I was really impressed! The warm welcome and fantastic food made for a great experience. We had just stopped in for a quick cup of tea before heading back to the hospital, so I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. This has become our new favorite spot to eat in Middlewich. Hopefully, we'll have time to try dessert during our next visit!

"The steak pie, chips, and vegetables were cooked to perfection and delicious. The rhubarb crumble and custard was also perfect. The staff were very friendly and it was definitely worth a visit. "after a day shopping in cheshire egg and omg . so glad that we did. that was our first visit and it won't be our last. from the minute we came in when we were gone, had a fabulous attentive service. I had fish and chips and must day by day it was the most beautiful thing I had ever had in my life, I didn't child her, the teig just melted in her mouth. my hubby had the cajun chicken burger with stylton and he virtualy licked the plate clean. we had not been able to sit down for dessert, but I had a latte that came with a chocolate brownie, nice touch youngs .had to use the powder room and what a nice room it was too nice accessories and even a jankie candle on the go and thick paper towels for their hands. it has gone a lot of care and attention to this restaurant and it did not go unnoticed. worth a visit. x"

"Stayed here Saturday for 1 night in the area for a family party. Room 7 at the top of the house at the back. Very clean and value for money. Some noise from the beer gardens especially the pub next door around midnight. Staff very friendly all polite and quick to notice we needed assistance. Breakfast very nice only thing was we had to order the night before. Pity we couldn't change our selection from sausage bap. Rooms: Room was very hot when we arrived all windows closed temperature was at 28 degrees . Room 7 at the very top so maybe consider the room temp. Bed normal double but comfortable. Noteworthy details: Breakfast has to be ordered the night before not a lover of this system how do you know how hungry you will feel the next day ?"

"Yesterday, I stopped by for lunch, and it was quite busy! We were seated right away. We ordered the fish and chips and a steak burger, both of which were huge and arrived within 20 minutes, even with the restaurant being so crowded! As always, the food was excellent. The service was very good; the waitress checked in on us to see if everything was satisfactory and later brought us the dessert menu after our main dishes. This is a lovely pub with outstanding food. We’ll definitely be back soon. This was our fifth visit, and each time we’ve tried something different from the menu—everything from steak to lamb to beef for Sunday dinner—and it has always been delightful. We highly recommend dining here, especially with the cozy open fire, and their dog-friendly section makes it even better. You really can’t go wrong!"
