We simply loved everything about this place! The decoration, the food, the beer, the friendliness of the staff. It is a small, but very cosy place, with a medieval twist. There are not a lot of tables, so I strongly recommend to book a table! The food is great, typical from the area.

Visiting the Messe for few days, we ended up eating here 2 times: really good food is served by very kind waiter. The entry is tough for me as tall NL, steep stairs and low ceiling, but very worth the effort: good ambiance in the old style cellar. Need to come back here with my wife.

Fantastic place with a local feeling! It is located through a side door and down steep stairs in a very old basement and decorated with an almost medieval flair. Great atmosphere! Our servers were attentive and fun, joking with us a little and bring our food and drink efficiently. They spoke good English and were very friendly to use our language to help us with the order.
