Amazing kebabs and more, super clean restaurant and pleasant family run staff. A lunchtime regular. Highly recommended.

After a brief hiatus glad to see it’s reopened. Such a gem the good is always great and good value. Couldn’t recommend more.

We tried the kofte Iskender and spinach and cheese gozleme at this restaurant and it was absolutely delicious! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will definitely return. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming.

Looks like a run of the mill kebab joint. Don't be fooled. This is an all family affair. Granny makes the bread the stews. Dad sons cook all the meats. Mama takes the money. It's spotless in there. And the food is excellent. Fresh, authentic and very tasty. Great value. To be honest, if this was in Islington there'd be queues around the block.

I recently visited Well Street Surprise and was thrilled to see that it had reopened after a serious flood in their basement. I decided to try the chicken wrap and was pleased to find that it was just as delicious as before. The meat was juicy and flavorful, and the salad and vegetables were fresh and crispy. The homemade chili sauce was amazing! This restaurant is run by a family who prepares everything fresh daily. I highly recommend giving it a try, as I don't think you will be disappointed. Ver carta

I echo fully the one previous review. This is a great little family restaurant. Very, very clean, friendly staff, great value and above all real fresh cooked food. The menu is basic but varied. On the basis of one visit two of us could only try a few items. The starters of vine leaves and hummus were fresh and tasty. Salads were particularly fresh with a pleasant if rather sweet dressing. My lamb chops were great as was my partner's main which was massive. Added bonus no problem taking a bottle and no charge. Shall definitely visit again.

We were in the area for a party and needed a quick meal. At a first look at Nazars it doesn't look much for the world, and to be honest we expected a classic kebab place. However, when we got our food we were in shock it was absolutely delicious! Fresh ingredients cooked with a lot of care and love and owner was so incredibly friendly. We had a vegetarian dish in pita bread with tomato sauce, yoghourt etc and it was some of the best food I've had in the UK (high end restaurants in the city included). I'd def recommend anyone in the area to give it a try!

I absolutely adore chicken wings, and this restaurant serves the best ones I have ever had. They are cooked beautifully over charcoal, resulting in a delightful crust on the outside while remaining moist on the inside. Although they may be more expensive than other places, it's worth it because life is too short to eat mediocre food. The wings are served with grilled tomatoes and green peppers, and a piece of bread is a must for soaking up the delicious juices. I also recommend trying their kebabs - these chefs really know how to cook and don't skimp on quality ingredients. Ver carta
