The food was delicious, but we felt that we were overcharged for booking in advance as we did not receive the same discounts as those who were enticed to come in from the street.

Excellent food, good menu choice. Clean restaurant. Friendly and efficient staff, especially Slash. Reasonably priced. Take your own alcoholic drink. Soft drinks can be purchased at the curry house.

The restaurant did not disclose that they do not serve alcohol. The staff was quite impolite, even chasing us at the door despite having a reservation. They shouted at me for my name when seating me. Overall, not a pleasant experience, but the food was authentic. Ver carta

This was the best curry experience I've ever had! The food was absolutely delicious. The restaurant claims to be the oldest on Brick Lane, and it certainly proves that old is gold. The atmosphere and value were also excellent. Overall, everything was just fantastic!

it is a typical pseudo Indian cuisine of bangladeshi köchen. vindaloo, madras etc. are not authentic Indian curries and remains of the British rich. it was good in the 80s, but not in 2021. the restaurant insists on having a main course that is not justified for the price in quantity and quality. you eat better at mac’d than at this joint.
