Delight House - Carta

This is by far the best crispy duck I have ever had! The portions are huge and always satisfying. I have never been disappointed with a meal from this restaurant, although the set meal for one could use more variety.

Had the set meal for one, a lot of chicken but lovely food and loads of it, would easily have fed two for £11!!! Will be back in the spring with my wife and try something else, but a great first visit nice friendly girl at the counter!

First time I tried this place, I don't eat anything I can't identify so asked for sirloin steak and chips. The steak was wonderful and there were enough chips to feed three people. The sauce gravy was very nice so I was happy to mop it all up with the vast amount of chips. Will definitely be back. Ver carta

I ordered a meal for one person and two pancake rolls. The menu listed the prices as £11 for the meal and £3 for the rolls, coming to a total of £14. However, I was charged £16.30. The food was bland and I felt like I was overcharged. I will definitely not be ordering from this restaurant again anytime soon.

We are 4 friends of a certain age.. We ordered the meal by phone and drove 5 mins down the road to collect …. The young woman who took the order altered it slightly … you have too much !! Yes we did. The food was hot and delicious we had too much of course … enjoyed the next morning for breakfast !! Highly recommended so tasty

My family and I gathered for a meal last night at New Delight. There were 9 of us, ranging in age. We ordered takeaway which cost less than £9 per person, including delivery. Every single one of us enjoyed the food immensely, with not a single negative comment. The service was excellent as well. We were all very pleased with our experience at New Delight. Ordered a takeaway for delivery for a surprise family gathering which should be 45-55 mins. Didn’t arrive so rang to see where it was to be told it had been cancelled but they had no knowledge of who had cancelled it!! It certainly wasn’t me but they didn’t know who it was? Leads me to think order never got sent to kitchen and was an excuse. Didn’t even offer to fast track my order. NEVER USE THEM AGAIN.

Wow just wow so we ring for our two weekly takeaway always been amazing and when it arrives I rang them to say the order is wrong not only that but the lady that answers the phone said sorry its my mistake and when I.said what do we do now she said you can have your missing order which was a chow mein but I'd have to pay extra dispite the fact she admitted fault what the hell so dissatisfied and disappointed

Staying on a campsite wanted a Chinese. Read reviews which were very mixed but decided to give them a go. All I can say is that the service was excellent from ordering to delivery. The guy who answered the phone and the one who dropped the food off were very friendly. We ordered a chicken curry and a chicken sweet and sour cantonese and I can honestly say they were both really tasty. Would definitely recommend. Ver carta
