"our new favorite restaurant in duisburg. we, two couples, have spent a perfect evening in house roasting. after the very friendly greeting of the waiter, the reserved table was assigned to us. although the restaurant was very full, we were served quite quickly. we ate steaks and a grill plate. to the excellent steaks, which were cooked as ordered, we had delicious dip ́s and each one an salat of salatbuffet. the great offer of different dressings and oils you do not see frequently. to dessert two of us had a strawberry laser. great, fresh strawberries and cream in between. the waiter asked appropriately often after drinking-adjustment without being intrusive. the ambiente sets up the clones. Light effects in all colors without having to look cheesy. I've never seen. a minimal disadvantage was the somewhat high loudness against 20.00 o'clock, but by all the other very positive is pushed into the background. I can only recommend to everyone to convince themselves."

"Die Art und Gestaltung der Speisekarte, die angebotenen Gerichte und auch das ein oder andere "bekannte" Gesicht im Service könnten vermuten lassen, dass es eine Verbindung gibt zwischen der "Diva" und dem "Teatro" im Centro. Aber das "Diva" ist vom Essen als auch vom Service und Ambiente besser. Die Papardelle mit Wildschweinragout waren gut und vom Preis (10,- € für eine kleinere Vorspeisenportion) durchaus akzeptabel. Letzteres gilt jedoch nicht für den Sepia vom Grill; dieser war zwar auch gut aber mit 20,-- € zu teuer und ist in vergleichbarer Qualität in ähnlichen Ristorante um die 4,- bis 5,- € günstiger. Leider war auch nicht mehr jedes Gericht der "Tageskarte" vorrätig. Aber dafür waren der Expresso und der Grappa (auf's Haus) gut. Insgesamt keine überragende aber eine durchaus gute und somit empfehlenswerte Adresse, wo man sich wohlfühlt."

"My wife and I ate here twice recently whilst travelling through Duisberg, both times we received a very warm welcome from Herr Dedivanovic and a fair bit of cheeky banter! The food on offer is fairly standard German fair with a strong Bosnia influence due...to the owners background. Both meals we had were very well prepared and extremely good value. We opted for the Balkan platter to share on the first night and the Gourmet platter on our second visit. We would recommend Haus Duissern for anyone looking for well cooked, good value food with a friendly atmosphere."
