New Indya - Carta

Just ordered a lovely meal for my family. Beautiful twist to the food! Cheese lovers must try out the chicken tikka cheese. Loved it and so did my kids. Thanks for such a lovely service. Hope to see you guys on our next visit

The restaurant does not deliver food promptly and their service is very poor. They took 2 hours to deliver food for a distance of 2.5 miles, and the food arrived too cold to be eaten. I would not recommend ordering food from this place.

We ate here as part of a mini break away as a couple. I’m coeliac and the restaurant was very helpful and reassuring. Really tasty food served properly hot. Very courteous and friendly service. We didn’t realise it wasn’t licensed and would’ve brought a bottle but it didn’t matter. We’ll know for next time. Ver carta

Proceed with caution when ordering from this restaurant. The staff are impolite and uncooperative. I placed a delivery order, but the restaurant claimed they waited outside and rang my doorbell for 15 minutes while calling my phone. However, I did not hear my doorbell or phone ring at all. They also supposedly knocked, but I did not hear that either. The person who answered the phone was disrespectful, refused to listen, and kept talking over me.

New to the area and was recommended this by a lady in Tesco on the check out!! Bring you own alcohol which is not clear in the website Food was the best we have had having eaten I 4 other Indian restaurant. Large portions and we asked for tweaks on dishes which they were happy to do. Definitely be back or delivery which they seemed to be really busy on. King prawn Dhansak and chicken chilli mossala, brinjal aloo, stir fried chilli rice all excellent

I ordered the butter chicken, which was described as a mild curry with butter. However, what it didn't mention is that it also contains coconut. If you have a coconut allergy, you wouldn't know this. When I called to inform them of my allergy, they were not helpful and refused to do anything about it. They even wanted to charge me for another main dish and an additional delivery fee. Overall, I spent £30 and only ended up eating a starter, which was very disappointing. Ver carta

I absolutely love Indian food and will often wait an hour plus for the highest rated restaurants near me however on this occasion I was starving and new indya had the shortest wait time, the food came in 15 minutes (never have I received an Indian so quickly) and it was f a n t a s t i c! I can't stress this enough, try it! sag aloo was especially gorgeous not greasy, food came hot, bhuna had plenty of fresh meat in it, I will defo be ordering again and again at such a reasonable price!

I am so upset leaving this restaurant tonight. A large group of friends were here to eat, and two babies were in the group. I ordered a meal that would come on a skillet, so asked, for safety, as I had a baby with me, for the food to be put on my dinner plate in the kitchen. The owner/manager refused pointed to my son and said put IT in there meaning his buggy. I said for safety I would like it on a cold plate and again got refused. I then asked them to cancel my food, which he said he would. I 'm really not sure what the issue was, especially as they give you a dinner plate anyway. Another mother had the smae dish. When we both asked for dishes to be on cooler plates they eventually agreed....

Visited New Indya on a Friday evening with a group of 6 friends. From the moment we sat down the waiter was keen for us to order some poppadoms but we kept telling him that we’re just waiting for one more friend to arrive (We had also arrived 10 minutes ahead of our booking so our friend was not late . The waiter was getting quite impatient and as soon as our friend arrived he abruptly came over and asked if we wanted poppadoms or not (Our friend hadn’t even taken her coat off yet! Throughout the evening the service didn’t improve. All the waiters were very rude and impatient. They took plates away while people were still eating and when I commented on this they just laughed!
