Rubbish. Awful service. Took order incorrectly. Failed to make amends. DO NOT TRY THIS PLACE, YOU WILL REGRET IT

A good local 'Indian '. They looked after us well, including catering for a fussy vegetarian (her description, not mine! and service was prompt.

Average quality food for an average price. Would recommend for a low budget company team meal. Their Biryani is above average quality for the price you pay. Ver carta

This is one of the worst places you could ever go to. The service is terrible and the staff needs serious improvement. Do not waste your time visiting this place.

My boyfriend and I had dinner at Lovage on Valentine's Day and the food was fantastic, some of the best Indian food we've ever had. The service was fantastic for friendliness and efficiency. The music was also lovely and very relaxing, without being too loud or overbearing. I highly recommend eating at Lovage.

When I was on a British tour with my parents, I decided to try this place. the food was best average, but what really was skating me was the service. the waiter hit the menu on our table and then gave us only two glasses water when we were actually six. I hope that not all Indian restaurants in Great Britain are so because the dings are actually very different to houses. Ver carta

Was not a pleasant experience, in short. I ordered the Tandoori chicken it was possible the most bland thing I have ever tasted. The waiter definitely wasn't the most attentive person in the world either. Depressing atmosphere, no life what so ever. Considering the low quality food, it was very overpriced and also there was a hidden service charge at the end. Will not be returning.

the service was fast, possibly too fast, but at least efficient. eating was clearly cut. the real shock received a bill of 156% more than it should have been. we might have been a few drinks, but the bill seemed quite expensive. we have added it and realized that they tried to cheat on us to give them 156% of it. After we faced the waiter, we were also apologised with all apologies and charged the corresponding amount. as a restaurant experience, I would not recommend it at all. avoid the avoidance.

I'm a sucker for the sizzle of tandoori on a hot serving plate so it was no surprise that as soon I saw a Chicken Tikka starter 3.70) coming out of the serving hatch, I'd be ordering the same myself. But for all the sizzle and smoke in New Jomuna (and there is a lot of smoke in the upper section where the food comes out) there wasn't much taste. The chicken was tender, the marinade was red, but alas that famous tandoori taste had left the building. Oh dear, I thought. It really takes an effort to persuade my friend who is sitting opposite me to come out for a curry not because he doesn't like it, it's just that his Indian wife of many years cooks a mean curry so it's a case of coals...read m...
