New Mayflower Chinese Restaurant

Pretty good, recommend the salt chilli tofu and the honey roast ribs. Reasonably priced too.

Mayflower is still one of those old favourite's that is so worth visiting for a good Chinese (Cantonese) meal.

New Mayflower restaurant has always been a reliable choice for authentic Cantonese food although they also devote a page to the northern Chinese cuisine

This one is gaining abit of a reputation. When it gets busy the staff are almost as rude as four seasons. Is it good? Yeah it’s not bad for dinner, is it the top of my list? No, but its worth a look.

cannot believe that this place has such a high rating. the only positive thing was that my food came fast, but I would have preferred it to be cooked all the way away and it took a little longer. I have left most of my meal in fear of eating rohemhun.

I'll visit london once a year and eat here always! we were a table of five, and were laid around a small round table, fucked in a small enclave in the wall in the basement. at the first impression I couldn't believe where we were sitting. but it turned out pretty good as it was like in a private room. we ordered a banquet of dresses: frying duck, honey roasted pork, crispy pork bubbly, spicy noodle something, garlic sweet and more, I can't even remember! and reis. all my guests were really happy and filled as soon as we were done! and best, they allowed us to sit and chat further, although we no longer ordered....read more

decent west end meal. I recently paid my second visit to the new mayflower with a friend. While I would never describe it as amazing, it is Chinese of a good standard that is reasonably expensive. the restaurant also seems very popular with the Chinese community, which is usually a good sign. I have been going to this place for years. it is open all hours, no matter when they leave a bar or pub before location, their starving notes can be sorted very quickly here. it wasn't one because it was nice to dip after a re-watched drink near. everything was as it was. fast personal, fast good eating and an additional bonus on the taste card 2 for 1. a tasty that should be there. besides the normal noodles, aromatic ducks and sweet/sour taste, I discovered that they have a dimming sum that I really eat. we had many different dishes with bark meat, huh, etc. on the dimming basket I was impressed, but I would not go for the pork and knödeln again. they tasted hard and...read more
