Nikki's Bakery - Carta

Good coffee and pastries but probably the most unfriendly, unsmiling and dismissive service I’ve come across in London. Making customers feel like an inconvenience. If it were my cafe, I’d change the team.

very nice place, well located in the chiswick high road. I had a lemon cake (which really felt fresh and creamy) and a nice cup tee. it also managed to get a brot to take away what was also quite good. will be back

We got breakfast here a few mornings during our week in Chiswick. Good selection of pastries, sandwiches and drinks. Their hot chai latte is excellent. My husband was very pleased with his eggs and toast. Cute, reliable bakery/cafe for a quick morning bite. Ver carta

There are plenty of breakfast options available at this restaurant, including English, continental, and healthy choices. They also offer delicious sourdough toast with butter and jam. The only thing that could make it better would be if they served Vegemite! Additionally, it would be nice if they offered large coffees in mugs, which can be hard to find in a small bakery.

We were staying nearby and had walked past this restaurant a few times. On our last morning, we decided to stop in for a pistachio croissant and a cup of tea. The croissant was delicious, and we were glad we didn't live closer because it would be too tempting to indulge every day. Despite some reviews mentioning less than friendly staff, we didn't let it bother us because the food was too good.

Wanted to pop in as my name is Nikki so thought I’d grab a bite here today. Was with my daughter, stepped in the door and was asked by a guy if he could help to which I replied that I was going to take a look at the menu. The woman behind the counter spoke to him in whatever language and started laughing we then left. Extremely rude behaviour so I would avoid this place for the bad vibes that the staff give out before you even sit down. Ver carta

We gave this place a go for lunch. They do an awful lot of cakes and pastries as you can see when you go in but we tried their baguettes which were very nice quality bread. My wife had chicken with pesto and I had chicken with cheese and tomato, both of us had them toasted. They were filled with loads of nice chicken and mine had plenty of cheese and tomato too. I had a pot of tea and my wife a cappuccino. Our bill came to £21 which I thought was a little pricey.

Today we had the worst experience ever on a place you normally go to relax and enjoy the environment. Imagine you arrive on a place and first comment you hear is that you need eat fast as they are concerned with the time to close, the detail is that is was 15:45 and the place only close at 16:30, so what is the point, for me was a clear signal for you no even to enter. Lasting 10 minutes the manager could come and just kindly reminder that we will close soon, that would be more than enough to finish, pay and leave. To close the horrible experience we the same manager which warn us that we only had 45 minutes to take a coffee, come to my table and asked me if was possible to give a carrot cak...

The setup at the cafe was a bit confusing - it seemed like we were expected to sit down first and then order at the till, which was inconvenient. Alternatively, we could have gone straight to the till to order, but this was not made clear by the staff. When I questioned the lady at the till about the pricing, she pointed out that the prices were listed on a menu that was not offered to us for dine-in. I felt the prices were not clearly displayed or communicated. Even the board only showed takeaway prices for a full English breakfast, not the dine-in price. It seemed strange, as most people wouldn't think to take away a full English breakfast. After a couple of inquiries and a double check... Ver carta
