"Disgraceful and deeply disrespectful service. Bitterly disappointed. We 've been visiting here for years, and have only recently noticed a drop in levels of service. The male waiter/manager was rude and confrontational over details of our table booking. Constant eye rolling by waitress upon any normal polite request such as excuse me, may I have a spoon please? And whatever you do, don 't ever mention here that you feel like you 're being treated rudely... can say from first hand experience that you 'll be gaslit and told that if you don 't like it you can leave!! Reading some of the reviews, it doesn 't appear that our experience is a one off it appears they are unwilling to ever admit to their mistakes. We will never eat here again. *edit I can 't respond to the restaurant 's response directly, but given their response am further shocked we were directly told that we hadn 't booked a particular table when we had, were effectively accused of lying and, when raised being treated rudely, were now being told we were the ones being rude and aggressive which was simply not the case and a further case of gaslighting all under the pretence of a polite response something not afforded to us in the restaurant. If you value respect and professionalism in a restaurant experience avoid at all costs!"

Terrible environment, delay in preparing the food, not to mention the ignorance of the delivery people. I do not recommend.

When we entered the restaurant, my family and I were welcomed with friendly smiles from the staff. They were accommodating and checked on our table regularly. The food was delicious, and we had no complaints. It was well-prepared, flavorful, and satisfying.

An excellent authentic Chinese restaurant. The food was superb every item. Very well presented and good portions. A little expensive but really worth it. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars overall is because the tables are too close and everyone can listen to everyone's conversation.

Decent Chinese but wayyy too expensive for what it is. We paid £55 for some prawns, noodles, dumplings and beef. All of these were acceptable to below average (beef was chewy, prawns were good, dumplings very mediocre), I expect to get great food at that price and it didn't deliver on that. If it was like 20% cheaper, we'd definitely go back. Fairly small portions as well. Either up the quality or lower the price

This local restaurant is a fantastic find with delicious food and a great atmosphere. The shredded beef in chili sauce, salt and pepper prawns, and chicken with cashews were especially delicious. We were impressed to learn from the manager that the restaurant has been run by the same family for 47 years. It's no wonder why it's so popular - with friendly staff, a wide variety of dishes (including halal options), and clean bathrooms.

Their customer service is terrible. We usually order menu B and swap the cold dish for salt and pepper squid. This has never been a problem until recently when they failed to include the squid or spare ribs in our order. When we called to address the issue, they were rude and refused to make it right. We have been loyal customers for years, but their lack of respect has turned us off from ordering from them again. It's a shame because the food is delicious.

"If you live in or visit Hanwell you must take a lazy walk down by the locks and build up an appetite before heading to the W7 Emporium. It’s a little white door by a crappy old man pub sat next to a small florist. Open the door and the atmosphere is straight away comfortable, your away from the street and simply relaxed and at home. The staff are friendly and offer as much banter as you want to be involved with so this is nice and a change from the branded offerings. The furniture is mix and match and the space light and airy so it fits well with Hanwells vibe and there is an outdoor space for the summer. The menu I would describe as funky modern Mediterranean, and there are no sausages which for me can be an issue. But if I’m being 100% honest I couldn’t care less here, the options here are well thought and imaginative. If you want a fry up there are other places in Hanwell to get one but if you want a Mexican there is only one place and that’s here. Ok I’ve given away my ultimate fave thing on the menu it’s what I have and it’s spot on. Poached eggs, nice bread, salad, crispy bacon, avocado and spicy sauce all out together and presented beautifully. So here we go it’s hands down the best place in Hanwell and if you want wine with brunch that’s fine because they serve that too. Have a couple then walk back to the canal and enjoy the afternoon whatever the season it’s a regular weekend jaunt and a compromise between a fry up for me and something healthy for the wife. In the eternal battle of good verses evil the Emporium emerges victorious every time."
