I hosted my birthday party at this restaurant. The atmosphere, food, drinks, and service were all fantastic. All nine of us had a great time during our visit. A big thanks to Michael and his team. Well done!

The home-cooked food at this restaurant is fantastic, and the staff is wonderful. I was pleasantly surprised when the chef came to our table to ask if we enjoyed our meal. We were a group of four ladies dining together.

the first time here and we were not disappointed. our table of 14 people was served quickly and properly. the personal was very accommodating and satisfied. our food was nice, and as at the price. good, 3 courses for £15.

Old Batelians Supper Club. Seventeen in the party and everyone really pleased. Fantastic food, wonderful service. the first time since the pandemic and the pleasure to return. friends and family of sheffield barnsley and ossett. the food was as good as I visited last and remember a lot of it, cooked freshly and meael the cook came out to talk about our food. michaels passion for eating is definitely seen and costly and is highly recommended. we also took a pudding place. so glad that we will be back soon and look forward to another excellent meal in nostalgic kitchen. a hidden gem

After the pub we were to find, we did not open til 2. what a sound, we went only to the 4.9 Google rating and from the outside looks just like a basic alcohol. they gave us the last table, the place was full, with good ground. we had the 3 Meat Dinner, and we hate cork. hash came in an old pot with a massive yorkie on the top, my came with a huge bowl of the right home prepared veg gravy. puds were large and old school proper baked used for the cakes as their nan earlier made. we're still 5 hours later. cost £33. try it.

The Nostalgic Kitchen at The Shepherds Arms truly lives up to its name, serving delicious home cooked comfort food just as promised. I started with the chicken tikka bites, which were generously portioned and flavorful. The lamb and mint pie was equally satisfying, with perfectly cooked lamb and a rich, tasty gravy. The meal was complete with a decadent brandy snap dessert with rum and raisin ice cream. With the Eat Out to Help Out discount, the entire meal for two came to a surprisingly low price of £18.25.
