Oaka at The Mansion House

A friend booked a space at this restaurant for a casual launch of her new book, and I attended to show my support.

We got there just as the kitchen was closing after a very long day of travel and they were kind enough to let us squeeze our order in.

Surprisingly good Thai food in a modern pub setting, with some unusual and very tasty dishes available. We've been three times but probably won't be going back as it's let by small portions for the price, and slow service.

I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious food and pleasant atmosphere at this restaurant. I would definitely come back. The only downside is that you have to order rice or noodles separately, which should really be included with dishes like curry.

The restaurant was overrun with mice, and the staff was incredibly rude. The management appeared to be intoxicated and seemed indifferent to the customers. They were playing loud music and drinking alcohol in plain view of the guests. When I asked them to lower the music, they flatly refused. The chef has changed, and the food is no longer as good as it used to be.

there are great things in kennington. I haven't been going there for years and then I find myself there twice in the same week. a couple of years ago I was a regular guy when I was doing football training at the Wednesday night. in those days there was a half decent pub selling the standard guest beer, but now there is something happening from a renaissance, several new pubs selling food and decent beer and the new supplement oaka in the mansion house, convenient to the tube it is hard for small breweries that sell in pub chains that have ever higher rabate branches of their own, so that the fabulous brow

I visited this bar for drinks and a light snack on two consecutive nights. On the first night, we tried an IPA that we didn't really enjoy, but we made a better choice on the second night and had the most amazing cider! Both evenings, we ordered the Thai fries, and let me tell you—they are little bites of heaven! They remind me of the log-cut fries I used to have as a kid, but in mini form! Each fry is perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, seasoned just right, and the sweet chili sauce is the perfect dip.
