Excellent fish and chip shop. They only accept cash, but you can also pay via bank transfer (BACS) while you're there.

The fish is fresh, fries are great, and the meal comes with free extras (lemon and sauces). Also, the decorations are great! Me and my son come here all the time. Highly recommend. Ver carta

Visited family in the area from West Wales and had a delicious meal of fish and chips and sausages definitely recommend Oh My Cod. Thanks also to our server the friendliest guy you could ever meet

The food was excellent. Some of the best fish and chips in the local area The service was also amazing. Despite being busy at the time, i was provided excellent service by Aidan and Robson who were a huge help. If you are in the local are would highly recommend

The food is ok but I really dislike the fact they only take cash, It's very inconvenient for me as I'm disabled and don't want to be having to struggle to a cash machine just for fish and chips, And they're also incredibly expensive it's like over 4 quid for a large chips, and the smallest cod and chips is £10.30. So I probably won't be using them again not on my budget. Ver carta

Im not a regular reviewer but i felt i had to review this place. Fish and chips should be simple and easy to do well but so often they aren’t. These guys do it right!! Really great chips and delicious fish. Lovely small extras such as a slice of lemon and tartar sauce included. I can honestly say this is one of the best chippys ive been to for a long while. Great work guys!!

I visited this restaurant for their usual large cod and chips, which I usually enjoy. However, when I got home and opened the meal, I noticed that the fish looked and smelled different. After taking a bite, it was obvious that it was a cheaper alternative to cod and did not meet my expectations. The taste was not good, and it was clear from the batter that it was not cod. I was very disappointed, and as a result, they have lost me as a customer. It's unfortunate because they have been good in the past.

Update: Prices have gone up again. For a cash only business that doesn 't then have to pay Card Payment service costs, this is not fair. Also the inconvenience for the customer having to take out cash specifically for this take away! Also everyone knows the relationship between cash only businesses and appropriate taxes... For Pescatarian diet followers, although fish is cooked separate to the meat products, it is then kept with the Sausages and touching the Sausages. They could easily have something in the keep warm glass oven thing to ensure the fish and meat is separate. Great Fish and Chips!
