"Seems to be a traditional Japanese Restaurant and we could see many Japaneses guests where eating at the restaurant, which in principal, is a guarantee for authentic and good food. When it comes to our own experience, I must say we where not massively impressed! We had ordered a 6 course Japaneses menu with salad, Sushi, Sashimi, skewer, dessert etc at a price of 35 Euros per person without drinks, expectations where high especially after having seen the photos in the net. The portions where so little and small that we honestly planed to order an additional plate on top of the 6 to stop us being hungry. The quality of the courses where very variant, the skewers where really not good, the sushi OK, the Sashimi OK as well but not best quality, etc..Not sure we will visit again, the service was horribly slow but friendly. It took us 2 hours for the menu and we where still hungry at the end."

I liked the atmosphere, the food especially the sashimi was great. The service was also very good. The only negative point was the a bit high price...

I like this restaurant because it is a great value: the food is delicious but they keep it simple,it is not a stylish place and this maybe explains why prices are relatively low, in comparison to other restaurants. Highly recommended!

We like it! It feels authentic: bright lights, no western cutlery, lots of Japanese customers. Lovely service, good food, defenately not pricey, seev bayern beer. Ok: I admit Sushi few nights ago was bit saulty but I blame the soya sauce!

Probably the best Sushi in town. The interior may be rather modest, but the food is EXCELLENT, authentic and compared to what you get for your money in other places reasonably priced! What me makes me so sure? Ask all the Japanes business men who flood the place everyday... Ver carta

Sushi is very average, don't expect to eat in good quantity and the quality of the fish they put in sushi really left space to desire. On a mix sushi dish there was just small salmon on a very small nighiri and all makis were done with gerkin and surimi (worst processed shrimp). Never more

Very hospitable service, while waiting for my sushi box I always got some green tea, nice detail... Have not tried other dishes from the menu, but they seemed and smelled tasty... I always take sushi boxes, they are fresh and the wasabi is strong... Just say thank you in Japanese and you´ll see that the personnel is really from Japan...

We found this place to be a quite and inexpensive Japanese restaurant worth visiting and we already came back quite a few times. From the outside it does not look welcoming but once you get inside it feels different. More then once we met Japanese families eating at this place. This must mean something. One of my favorite is the "Udon Topf". Ver carta

I have been spoiled by some amazing sushi so if it is only good, I am not too impressed. Ohayou is good. They have more than sushi; my wife had noodle soup which was great, and others had skewered chicken and shrimps. Atmosphere was good and they even have a small traditional seating area which is fun. The place is small can get crowded later (no empty seats at 9pm). Jasmine tea, Asahi and Kirin in bottles, Green Tea ice cream was very good, next time i will try their green tea tiramisu!!

This is a really charming Japanese restaurant. It has a section where you could sit on the ground with your shoes off, they have a very extensive menu of sakes, Japanese starters, sushi and ramen and the service is truly Japanese from Japanese people. It is a place where you can have food which is not easily available elsewhere in Munich.Green tea is served in proper Japanese tableware, Edamame is fresh and costs 1 Euro for a small bowl, ramen is really amazing and the daifuku desert is truly weird :)The owner is a lovely middle-aged Japanese woman who is normally inside and like to talk to the guests. One of our favorites in Munich. Do visit!

"Indian restaurants are becoming almost as ubiquitous in Munich as Italian restaurants lately, or so it would seem. So why did I give this one get 5 stars? In part because Yelp doesn't allow for half star ratings and I didn't feel right giving four after my wonderful dinner experience there and the excellent meals my guy has had there before me. Kamasutra is close to his work and we had dinner here after him and work friends raved about this place for lunch. They've only been open for about three months but it's a regular lunch stop for them now. One thing I noticed early on, they do not take shortcuts. Great care is put into food and service. The menu is varied, good selection of wine and cocktails too. Service was friendly and attentive from start to finish. The interior is more modern and sleek than most Indian resto's. But what about the FOOD? We were in curry heaven. I had a jumbo shrimp curry and he had a chicken vindaloo. Sauces for both were rich, had complex, nuanced flavors and were not greasy or oily. And when they say spicy, they mean spicy, so for those of you lamenting the lack of proper spice level, make your way here NOW. If you don't want your curry toned down for the German palate, do have some here. Lovely garlic naan, very generous serving of good basmati. Delicious mango cream for dessert and real chai that wasn't syrupy sweet. Kamasutra is a real gem and a welcome addition to Munich."
