"We chose OKA to celebrate our 9th year anniversary and, as Brazilians ourselves, we were very excited with the idea of going to a Michelin star restaurant runned by a Brazilian chef. Our experience was nothing less than exquisite! Great French haute cuisine served with a touch of Brazilian flavours. Absolutely incredible. We ordered the 7 course set menu, at each dish we were transported to a different world of flavours and textures. The plates were very well balanced and complemented each other, creating a coherent narrative for this menu. The restaurant has its own farm, which translates on the freshness of the ingredients used. It also offers an extensive wine menu and you can choose to do wine pairing with the dishes. The plates were served in a good pace, we had our time to really taste and appreciate the food and the wine. The waiting staff was amazing, very attentive to the details and very welcoming. The atmosphere is made for you to relax while appreciating the meal. The music is very in the background, so perfect for couples and group of friends to have a great chat. At the end of the service, chef Raphael went to salon to speak with his guests, which added a special touch to the whole experience. I would totally recommend OKA for a casual dinner with friends or special occasions and I will for sure be looking forward to coming back. Very nice experience and discovery of a cuisine with particular flavors of Brazil skillfully introduced into a very mastered French cuisine using high quality products. It’s difficult to choose a dish that would stand out from the rest because everything is excellent, ending with an outstanding dessert. A warm relationship develops over the course of the dishes between the guests, the chef and the dining room team (very well decorated) including a resourceful sommelier. In short, I already want to come back.
