Being a south Londoner, I don't frequent the City very often but Andrew M's UYE for Kevin L's leaving drinks was a perfect excuse to explore this unfamiliar

The service here was outstanding. Our waiter Manuele was very friendly and ensured we happy and had what we wanted before the last glass was empty. The fig proseco gets my thumbs up too.

Beautiful spot! But get there on time for dinner or you’ll be stuck at the bar having drinks only- which is actually a good time because they have a DJ so the bar area doubles up as a dance floor. Friends and I had drinks here. Brilliant ambience, they have a heated outdoor space too. Lovely cocktails and the food was scrumptious. Definitely try the Salmon Bellini. But what really was great about this place was the manager, Manuelle. What a gentleman and great conversationist. We had some issues with our table, which he immediately sorted and was a brilliant host the whole night. Would definitely recommend this place for speakeasy drinks and nibbles night, as there is music, but you can also actually hear each other talk without getting that scratchy throat the next day! 10/10.

we had a late Sunday dinner and were very impressed by the bar; the outside terrace has a table football machine and comfortable sofas ideal for drinks, as well as the tables for diners, and the inside is elegantly decorated with the toilet entrances hidden in the mirror wall at the far end. Although it is so close to the liverpool street, it was quiet and relaxing and wonderfully cool at a very hot day. the burgers we ordered were enormous and very good and I can recommend the cocktails. on a Sunday they also make a great offer where for £10 they can drink as much prosecco as they want. rest first, but it filled later; on weekdays it must be alive. the service is perfect.
