Lovely food, (not large portions), fresh and well cooked. A lovely place to have a drink and a special meal, but expect to pay £50/ head for dinner. Staff are delightful, robotic server very cute. Good selection of dishes. Fish is always beautiful. Ver carta

Probably the best restaurant on St Mary's. Busy vibe. Lots of fresh fish on the menu. Very tasty, nicely presented. Absolutely essential to book for dinner and well in advance too. Value not bad for the Scillies and reasonable choice of wines. Dog friendly. Oh...

We ate twice at On the Quay during our stay on St Mary's. Both meals were excellent; mostly went for the fish (friends had the fish skewer and I had the sea bass on chirizo and beans, really delicious). Husband had the steak (one time, Rump, the next the Fillet), substantial portions and excellent quality meet. Lovely sauce and accompanyments. Waiting staff lovely, friendly and efficient. Not cheap, but no where is on the island. Top quality though and worth it. Thank you to the team (and chef, of course).

Good selection on the menu. For starters we had the celeriac and the scallop, for mains the hanging seafood skewer and the muscles. All were very well done. Not exceptional but very good. No complaints about any of the food. We shared a cheese board, only comment would be there could have been a tad more cheese, though this is a pretty common issue with restaurant cheese boards. The wine choice was also good, and lots of choices of good wines by the glass. Service was very friendly, nicely informal. Didn't feel rushed, we were seated for a tad over 2 hours for 3 courses. Positive feedback for the toilets, very clean!! The aspect we scored least was value. Not really specific to On The Quay,... Ver carta
