"Situated in Gloucester historic docks, by the water, this tiny shop take away only with no seating) sells only toasted sandwiches but, boy are they all GOOD! Lots of choice of fillings and they are all delicious. David does not skimp on the fillings. You can order in advance or just turn up, but be prepared for a short wait as it is all cooked to order, super fresh. The owner and cook is David who is friendly and chatty and does everything himself. We had a Paddington brie, red onion marmalade), a Fiery Welsh Dragon cheddar, leeks and tabasco), a Sticky chicken chicken with sweet chilli sauce and mozzarella) and a Meaty Marathi chicken tikka onion bhaji with mint sauce) all absolutely delicious and very filling. It's so hard to choose which one to have! Highly recommended."

Happy little establishment on Gloucester very popular docks area. Good menu for toasties etc. Very helpful staff definitely worth coming back for more.

Great cheese and ham toasted sandwich, possibly the best I’ve ever had! The venue is still observing social distancing but it is worth the wait to order.

Took my two sons to Gloucester for a few days and stopped here after visiting the docks and The Soldiers of Gloucester museum. We had the Westcountry, Hawaiian and Meet Feast and they were all delicious. We ordered at the door and was given a time to return. Very reasonable prices too

Bloke who runs it is rude and food was substandard for price. Feel ripped off and insulted all at once. Ordered food and had to listen to him whining about the beautiful docks and running the place down . Such a shame. My advice don’t bother. Plenty of good food places to go around this area.

We were visiting the historic docks for the first time and saw this place and decided to grab lunch here. Friendly service, chatted to other customers whilst waiting for a freshly cooked, piping hot, and densely filled toasties. Son had the meat feast and declared it the best toasted sandwich ever. That's high praise David. Thank you for a great lunch stop.
