"In July 2015 I visited this place for the first time, so it was called Avra Taverna. I found it very bad when I heard it closed. There were far more than the typical dishes on the map. But: Even in Opson you do not get the classics, but you will find classic dishes, new and creative. The sounding dishes are then also about a few euros higher than the Greeks around the corner. I liked the atmosphere very well, very bright and Mediterranean. The wooden benches equipped with very thin seat cushions do not help to sit comfortably. The chairs must come without seat cushions. Fresh flowers at the table and candles and indirect lighting contribute to well-being. Our table was reserved for 9 people. There were 3 tables next to each other, where 2 chairs were placed on the forehead (which is still ok). The person should still sit on the bench and had the table legs between the feet of 2 tables, I don't think. And where the place was not booked, you could have put a table on it without any problems. Now you almost have to say: Luckily, a person has canceled, otherwise it would be really unpleasant. The service (owner? had left the rest and had everything under control even if I wanted to see more often in the round and ask if you still have a wish. Later the individual numbers worked smoothly. EC card is accepted. What unfortunately did not work: 4 of us had ordered mixed appetizers and wanted to eat them as an appetizer and main food and they should be served with the other appetizers. But they only came with the main courts. For food: Informed by some rating sports, I was placed in a small piece on the fact that there is a little of the house, like a kind of Bruschetta or Mini Süppchen. Of course, this has been abolished in the meantime. Shade is always a very beautiful and positive gesture. We had split a cold and a hot mixed appetizer plate. Pros to note: The service told us that this is too much as an appetizer. But we didn't want a main dish, but only those two plates. A bread basket was not enough to ask. The cold appetizer: The Zaziki was extremely on the tongue (too much acidity? I found it really uncomfortable and couldn't eat it. The white Taramas were great! Sheep cheese cream was a bit too fast, but qualitatively good. The lentils with the caramelized onions unfortunately tasted completely unworn. The Red Bete with mayonnaise and mint was fine, but they also had a little more spicy. CousCous Salat was very good. Overall, the cold plate has disappointed me, and I found it really good that there are other things on it, as you otherwise know. The warm plate was great! Everything very, very tasty! Especially good were the broth with tomatoes and zucchini and also the chickpea with apricots was a great and new combination for me. But everything else was perfect for me. This plate is a super recommendation when someone stands on Meze. I was very happy that there was not the tingling Zaziki on the record, but a yogurt tip. A whole dessert was too much to me, but I was allowed to try the Ekmek Kataifi and that was not a big part, but also fantastically good and fortunately not too sweet. What is often heard in other Greeks, like a small part of the Greek yogurt on the house or the obligatory ouzo on the way or/and after or even between, there is no one here. Or maybe not for our table? Of course, this does not flow into the star review, but is definitely interesting for some readers. In good weather you can also sit outside! Conclusion: Some things (see above) lead to a strong fluctuation between 3 and 4 stars. Most foods were really good, but there are too many points that have disturbed me so that I finish in this case."
