"Definitively one of the coolest restaurants in Bonn. The interior design is fancy, stylish, creative. A little bit on the edge here and there, but just so much that you will still appreciate it as a wink of a smiling provocation. And the same is true for the food! You just cannot decide if it is „rock-solid“ high-quality food or if it goes beyond your expectation. After dining out here a couple of times I tend to go more for a reliable „rock-solid“ than an exited „Wow!“ Don’t get me wrong: Everything is high-quality, welcomes your eyes on the plate, and flatters your palate. It‘s just … a tick to boring and not daring enough. A tick more courage and love of experimentation could make it a top-notcher! And the service? Well, it could be better. But not much too complain about, for sure. However, it seems that QoS depends on the evening and staff present. And if the service personnel tells you in an excusing way that they have just started, than that’s in a way charming – but it also tells you that the management is failing to get a proper onboarding process and HR organized. But anyway …even if there is potential to grow – the “Oscar in der Remise” is currently one of the best options in Bonn for a fine dine out. You can feel comfortable and safe to book a table for your date as well as your business partner for dinner here. Enjoy!"

Our waiter was not very friendly and did not speak English or French and made little effort to understand our needs. However, he reached another server (which has understood English) to take our order. Very unusual for a restaurant in a UN campus area and this calibre.

The menu was unfortunately no longer as extensive as before. Previously, the selection was more versatile among others also a Persian dish, now very Steak Lastig... Service was not so good in terms of the fact that everything took a very long time and the waiter didn't come to ask as often as we still want something

Speisekarte war leider nicht mehr so umfangreich wie vorher. Vorher war die Auswahl vielseitiger u.a. auch ein persisches Gericht, jetzt sehr Steak Lastig... Service war in der Hinsicht nicht so gut, weil es alles sehr lang dauerte und der Kellner nicht so oft zwischendurch mal vorbei kam, um zu Fragen, ob wir noch etwas möchten

We had friends to visit and wanted to shave them to a beautiful place in Bonn. Our knowledge is one of the most beautiful restaurants in Bonn, especially in terms of ambience, decor and vibe. Most restaurants have ok food with really no emphasis on ambience. This one combines both. A bit expensive, but it is worth visiting once. Would definitely go back!
